Sorry for the delay in uploads, I have had lots of trouble with the youtube uploader, this video took 3 attempts to upload and then over 16 hours to get onto youtube.
I love rewatching the videos from 2013 - 2015 I was a kid during that time and this always gives me a very comfortable feeling almost like ASMR (if you know what that is). I was jealous of all the wooden stuff you got but now that I'm older I managed to get some of those items as well.
I remember setting up TOMY track with TOMY trains on my living room floor. Me and my older brother would see how many trains we could fit on the track without crashes, and we would man the stations and switches. I had Duck, Toby, James, Henry, Edward, Gordon, Spencer, and a few Thomas's. I also had tge special edition metallic blue Thomas. Sadly these were all given away without my knowledge. Oh, how I long to be younger. :/ Thanks for bringing back some great memories Leo. :)
06:42 I would assume that the little piece that sticks out is to support a piece of track there. The other side doesn't need it because the "female" connector has wood beneath it anyway.
My Parents got rid of some of my collection ages ago (ERTL and Wooden) but since then i have restarted my Thomas collecting and have a ton off ertls again!
Looks like a pretty good collection there! And about the whole copyright thing, it really puts a damper on my spirits because I'm hoping to upload Thomas videos. Poor ThomasWoodenRailway. I really liked his series, one of my favorites here on UA-cam.
Ooh! A checkout Fat Controller! Looking good, Topham! A nice, well loved collection of toys. Thanks for showing them to us, Leo :) I do wonder why Duck, Jack, and Diesel 10 didn't get much love. Jack's got the most chips out of the three. Must have been hard at work outside moving rocks or something.
I had a small Thomas collection growing up, but I gave them to Goodwill when I grew out of them. I had a few of the wooden Thomases and used Brio track as filler track between my Thomas sets.
On the bridge piece at 6:50 That piece that slides out is to support the track connected to it, But slides back in if you want to put two of the bridge/curved tunnels together. I don't know if someone has already said that. I checked the comments but didn't see anything. Hope it helps!
Wow nice collection of thomas toys there, loved the checkout Edward and take n play duck, I have been looking for one of those for ages never can find one, sadly I lost all of my TOMY's :( even the best one the special edition steam able one :( I sold them at a car boot when I went of thomas for a a little while don't know why...but I am trying to get some of it back :) so far I have salty, Henry and a non working sound thomas.
The windmill, bridge, station, and all the roadway pieces are from a rare Thomas set based off the 'Thomas and Bertie's Great Race Set". Also, for some reason, Learning Curve stopped marking the dates on the wheels of the wooden engines in 2003. So those TWR engines are probably from 2005-ish, as well as all of your other pre-2013 wooden engines.
Hi there. Been watching your videos for awhile now and only just got a UA-cam account, so I can finally say they make my day. I am also a big Thomas fan and have been for years and watching your videos brings back memory's of toys I once had Thank you
Cool review Leo! And i have a few answer to some things! Firstly, all clean track shows that this child set up a giant set and never cleaned it up. And the thing out of the track is just to keep the track up. But it is indeed odd that iit doesn't show much play.
This was a wonderful video. I have every intention of keeping my sons collection for my future grandchildren some day. My mother in law gave my son a bunch of his dads childhood toys and he loves to play with them.
Cool video. Interesting to see the contents of a boys old Thomas collection, a little sad as well that he doesn't want it any more. I think the little slide out wooden piece on the Bridge was to hold up the next piece of track.
I'm pretty certain nearly every adult can relate to a set of toys being given away, hell I sure wish I had my toys from the 1970's, especially my Evil Knievel stunt bike and a toy called U Fly It.
I loved this video, it is fantastic when you find a 'job lot' of Thomas items in a charity shop and you have to sort through them, picking out the gems! :) I love those take alongs, which I could find a big lot of them like that! I did see a load of them in a shop near me, but they were too expensive.
Yes I agree, going through a whole box of mixed toys is like peeking into someone else's childhood. What's interesting is the repeated characters in different styles of toys
Hey leo you are a luck guy. You got those thomas wooden railway in a fair good condition. BTW those trains that you called "cheap generic trains" they are Brio. They are wooden toy company founded in Sweden
what a mix of toys very interesting I wonder who owned these and who gave them away. The Bob the Builder character is called Scoop and would have been made by Learning Curve as a Take Along just like the Thomas toys because they are both HiT properties.
leokim, I have an old sleeping bag from the 90s, licenced and has awesome graphics of some characters you don't normally see on the Thomas and Friends . If you are interested in seeing it or have one like it I would like to know. Just curious, it seems to be my most obscure Thomas and Friends merch.
The wooden windmill is from Thomas wooden railway. Back when wooden railway was first starting out, they didn’t put any licensing on the engines or track but they would but it on the box
Take along /take n play is defintaly the way to go if you want accurate, good looking toys Toby looks as if the rivet in the back has collasped and the front one has buckled under stress
My mom donated it about half of my collection without me knowing when I was around 4 to 5 or so. She ended up donating them because I had a really really big collection at the time and it was taking up a lot of space. The most disappointing part is that she did it without me knowing and a lot of old trackmasters and an old Tomy Thomas that was very special to me got donated to Goodwill
I may be 5 years late, but I believe that strange wooden bridge piece is the viaduct piece from The Magic Railroad. It may not, but it sure reminds me of it, since it has that play feature where the thing can pop in and out to support the track or not.
I totally regret getting rid of my thomas collection. I had a lot of the take and play stuff and a little trunk with wheels on it. Plus a lot of tomy trains and track as well. Although I still have my wooden toys.
Leo I love your videos they make me laugh all the time it sucks that there are so many haters that dislike your videos. I live in New Zealand and we had heaps of tomy but not much take along/take in play and wooden
I know why that thing the you push in on the wooden bridge piece is there. That bridge piece is a part of a Thomas play set called muffle mountain from Magic Railroad. The bridge piece is the scene where Diesel 10 goes off the bridge. And that push botton on the bridge is to make the track fall like in the movie.
i own many non Thomas wooden trains and they are excellent quality, never had problems with them. The problem is the new 2013 wooden Diesel 10; it's not to difficult to remove pinchy
the thing that comes out of the bridge thats a piece to hold the track so it doesn't fall and on the other side it doesn't have it cuz there is already a space where the track connects

Go buy them again
Has any one been able to contact ThomasWoodenRailway, he seems totally out of action. I hope he's ok.
,
leokimvideo leo I've been looking around for classic take n play trains (mostly duck and toby)where do you suggest I look (garage sales shops exedra)
I tried to but he didn't answer sorry leo
the Bob the builder character is scoop
I like trains

DALEKSLAYER1 sams here. I just got spencer today
DALEKSLAYER1 glad to hear that
why did your parents get rid of your old ertl and wooden train collection?:(
Horay!
Collect peeps
Hi Leo! Just wondering, I have most of the take along thomas engines, and they are the older version. Are they considered rare? Love the video!
Looks like a pretty good collection there! And about the whole copyright thing, it really puts a damper on my spirits because I'm hoping to upload Thomas videos. Poor ThomasWoodenRailway. I really liked his series, one of my favorites here on UA-cam.

With the "generic" wooden trains shown, I believe that's Brio, cause I had lots of friends with Brio stuff and they looked like that.
***** I am familiar with Imaginarium, just when I saw the little cars first shown (not the plastic stuff), I've always that was Brio.
***** LOL.
***** interesting.
***** hell, you guys know this toy train stuff inside out...that's awesome to see this info in action, thanks to all
@@leokimvideodo you have a tomy Douglas or Oliver? Because they are SUPER expensive, like, will cost your entire families kidneys
Nice video I love this stuff haha, tomy cattle wagon and percy tomy fuel tanker :D
I had a small Thomas collection growing up, but I gave them to Goodwill when I grew out of them. I had a few of the wooden Thomases and used Brio track as filler track between my Thomas sets.
I think those Thomas Wooden Railway pieces shown are from the "Let's Have a Race", I say that because of the bridge.
Illiniguy34 your time
That’s actually a really good theory since the box came with a Bertie, Thomas, Annie, and Clarabel as well
that was nice, doing that for ThomasWoodenRailway

The Yellow Digger from bob the builder's name is Scoop.
I also know the names of some of the classic characters on the show but not the newer ones.

You are genuinely one of the nicest people I've seen on youtube...
Still have my old wooden collection

Aw,I wish I was that wealthy in thomas wooden stuff. I have lots of trains but not a lot of track. Nice video give thomaswoodenrailway nice things!
The Windmill is from the Thomas And Friends line. It came in a certain pack, and was called Toby's Windmill
just by cracking open the box i can tell you hit gold.
My Thomas collection was mostly ERTL and wooden. I had a couple of checkout Thomas's and some take n play
Do you have "limited 60 year edition Thomas yet? Cause I have one and no collection should be considered complete until you have one.
Random Artist I have the 60 year silver Percy, but not Thomas. _/°_°\_ (Shrug face) oh well!
Thomaswoodenrailway and leokimvideo are 2 of my favorite youtubers
same
Good choice Leo I don't make anything vids so I don't understand the feeling. But thomas wooden railway makes lovely vids
oh my goodness leo. I cant belive people are complaining that you are advertising the batteries.

At the beginning of the video you summed it up perfectly got rid of a collection and are longing for it back
I like the look of that Thomas box and I got a Thomas like that 27:30 from a train show last year. Also that yellow bulldozer is Scoop.
what a mix of toys very interesting I wonder who owned these and who gave them away. The Bob the Builder character is called Scoop and would have been made by Learning Curve as a Take Along just like the Thomas toys because they are both HiT properties.
I really wish for my Thomas stuff back... I use to have the Brendam Docks Tomy set... The Thomas Jet Engine (Tomy.) And several Tomy engines.
i like how they use the buffers as wheels
hey leo share your updated thomas collection it might be really huge!!
nice buy leo i got a rare gold thomas and i put it up so it might be worht somethin later on
Nice box.
those pieces of rolling stock came with the james one of the first toys in my tomy collection as a kid

The wooden windmill is from Thomas wooden railway. Back when wooden railway was first starting out, they didn’t put any licensing on the engines or track but they would but it on the box
The checkout Thomas were rebashes of the Take N Play Thomas line!!!!!
This was the very first video I’ve ever watched
The bridge's thing that sticks out is a support stick to support track that connects to it
Take along /take n play is defintaly the way to go if you want accurate, good looking toys
Toby looks as if the rivet in the back has collasped and the front one has buckled under stress
WOAH AWESOME COLLECTION!
The sliding wooden piece comes out for a support for a piece of track
The first train I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!🚂!!!!!!!!!
The part on the bridge that can be pulled was to support other track you put there
Thomas and friends for ever
I like your channel when I was a kid

I totally regret getting rid of my thomas collection. I had a lot of the take and play stuff and a little trunk with wheels on it. Plus a lot of tomy trains and track as well. Although I still have my wooden toys.
I think that wooden bridge is from the mountain set from the magic rail road from 2001
Diesel is happy because he got rid of the “stinky steamies” or some else. Steamies are great.
I love my thomas but I never damage them. We'll I like to keep my toys clean :D
I lost my Thomas collection r.i.p my set 2000-2005 metal die cast :(
I restarted my thomas tank collection , I have 16 engines now , before I had more 😢
I feel ya I lost most of my old TOMY thomas

from falling okay Leo
the thing that comes out of the bridge thats a piece to hold the track so it doesn't fall and on the other side it doesn't have it cuz there is already a space where the track connects
That windmill is Thomas wooden railway.
I love him
On the turning bridge, the pushy-pully thing on the side is for the connecting track to rest on
21:52 Of course it says two-thousand and toot-toot!
Also, the one engine that I would never buy in old take along is Toby. 3 of my Toby's wheels simply cracked and fell off.
I unfortunately lost my wooden railway collection which had some pretty rare items although I have managed to find other ones
I saw a Gullane Thomas Lt 2002 on the base of the Tomy Donald.
