The bogans there are either on drugs,alcoholics ,single mothers who have several kids to several different partners and spend a lot of their centre link money at the bottle shop and the pokies and then go to their local church to get their daily evening meal

I’m proud to be called a Bogan. I’m from Western Suburbs and definitely working class. Between my church and state School I received a brilliant education which was completed by my training as a nurse by brilliant, dedicated women was exceptional. I love the BLUE SINGLET. It reminds me of my parents generation who returned from WWII and built the houses we lived in. Why has Australia created this pecking order? I suppose it must be better than the religious segregation that I knew as a child.

Once me, my dad, and my cousin went to the woods and shot a glass bottle with an air rifle as target practise and after we were finished we picked all the shattered glass up and put it in a shopping bag. Ethical bogans.

The term bogan originated in Melbourne and migrated to Sydney as another term for westies . its got nothing to do with the bogan river in nsw its got to do with the bogan moth which populates the hills west and south west of melbourne . hence bogan westie .but the rest of what you said pretty much explains it

I would say there certainly are bogans who are not working class (business owners who have some bogan traits), and working class people who are not bogans, or not presenting any bogan traits. But for the purpose of the video, I am generalising the majority of bogans are working class, which I think is true for the most part.
