Thanks for this video, Tim.
I love that you guys don't shy away from putting up a video when you don't make the kill: I think a lot of hunting shows are set up to make it seem like the guys filming are always successful, but of course that's not reality. When you guys show that sometimes it doesn't work out the way we want, it gives us normal guys some hope!
You're awesome Tim. You do all you can to make it happen, and sometimes it just doesn't play out. Thanks for sharing your frustrations and "failures" as much as your successes. Good luck this year..!!
+Jay B More times than not it doesn't end with a kill and good footage. It's usually one or the other. Thanks Jay!
I appreciate the humble misses almost as much as the triumphs. Looking forward to more.
+Sam Haraldson Thanks Sam! Key word "almost". Always nice to punch a tag for sure.
+SOLO HNTR soon enough!
Glad to be able to see your hunts again. Trip to Montana this year and I took home a 132 10 point, was a stalk and shot at 8 yards, all on camera!
+Chris Sibley Congrats on your buck!
NICE! I didnt think I would ever see another episode!
+nwhntr More to come. One new FULL length episode per month with short clips and reviews off and on. At least that's the plan. But for now its time to hunt. Thanks
really diggin the new intro. there are a few hunting shows I watch, but yours is the most inspiring to get off the couch and in the field.
+Daniel Born Thanks Daniel. We really appreciate that!
Shot Tim, good to see some real hunting out there. You guys do so well to get so close and self film the hunts as well.
+Josh James Kiwi Bushman Thank you! Its always a challenge.
Firstly, this is my first time seeing one of your videos and wow I am amazed you've earned yourself a subscriber. The hunt and footage were both great. Even though you didn't get the harvest you didn't go home empty handed, but with experience. Truly awesome video.
Great filming Tim, this was a great Episode.
+Caleb Struble Thanks man! Part 2 coming if a few weeks.
Awesome, I love Solo hunter videos. Born and raised hunting in Idaho, so your videos really hit home for me.
Keep them coming!!
Always fun to watch!
+Mitch Johnson Thanks!
good stuff guys! Looking forward for part 2...
+Jason v Thanks Jason! Coming soon
Nice Hunt. Those rock walls and monuments are not primitive relatively speaking. Most were built in the early 1900s by Basque sheepherders. They were built all over the Rocky mountain states. Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho and Colorado and other western states had huge populations of sheep back then and brought in Basque sheepherders from Spain to tend the sheep. The monuments were constructed mostly as a way of combatting boredom but have left their mark all over the West and are widely visible.
+hifastflyer Awesome thanks for the info.
good to see these again with you all being on TV now I've missed watching. I can't justify the cost in upgrading my directv to get the show.
+Ryan Gilbert I'm pretty sure Outdoor Channel is real close if not done already with a deal to include Outdoor Channel on the first 3 levels of Dish. Not sure though.
Great video Tim. Thanks for all the knowledge, and video :)
A great hunt Tim, beautiful country you hunt, I see your a friend of Rob Herbert of R&N Blades Australia , his knives are works of art, love mine and I saw yours through the construction of it on Robs page, treasure it there's none finer.
talked to you a couple times regarding packs. Here is what I have done. I have a stone glacier krux frame with a Kuiu pack. I had to do a bit of work to make the two fit, but they make a great combo. Thank you for all the input. Hope to share the same hunt with you sometime. I am very impressed with your commitment to family. I love to hunt, but my family comes first......Love your show.
+Joe Richardson Sounds like you got it figured out. Those are both great options. The NEW hunting platform frame from Kifaru is amazing! I love it. Good luck with your hunts!
this made my day! Thanks
+Jared Smith You bet!
Man do I feel for you. I love what you're doing, thanks for sharing. I too had a miss this season. I sure put a hurt on the maple tree behind him though... Keep hammering
+Rt Carolina Thanks!
Omg he replied. Thanks
+Roberto Cortes As often as I can. Thanks
This is great!
Sweet Video! - Keep it up!
Good video! I've been trying to film some of my hunts,it not easy what so ever! You and Remi make it look easy!
+12ernie NOT EASY for sure. Keep at it!
Do a video about what's in my hunting backpack ?!😃
+Roberto Cortes I've filmed for it now I just have to put it all together. Doing it all in stages. Thanks!
I was wondering why you don't post all your episodes on UA-cam? Great video!
+aiden clark Because we air on TV we have contractual obligations that restrict when we can upload full episodes. We should be on a pretty good rotation now and will be uploading a new FULL episode every month with a few other videos in between. That's the plan anyway but its hunting season so time in the office is limited. Thanks for the question!
Sweet video! love watching you hunt! Trying my best to get some good footage myself!
+NockAnd StalkOutdoors Thank you and good luck. I'm sure your doing fine.
any chance you'll release episodes more regularly on youtube since fios dropped the outdoor channel. This was my favorite show on the outdoor channel.
+jdbcool101 Outdoor channel is making some changes that might effect it.
+SOLO HNTR well hopefully they can get something worked out. thanks
bad ass!
+garnerharp Thanks man!
Hey I don't blame ya Tim lighting ain't my favorite thing in the world either
Tim, what size of FHF harness are you using for your Razor 10x50's, how'd they fit? Did you like the FHF set up or would you rather go with something else?
+Mark T I don't remember. Actually we will be launching our own bino harness in the next 60 days that will be as good as anything out there.
awesome stuff man!! are you using a panasonic gh4 as your primary camera? awesome quality
+Kyle Williams Yes GH4
where did he get his water from?
I like Solo Hunter content, but the music in the background was excessive in this one.
what unit?
Why did I buy this on vhx.tv if you were going to put it for free up here?
+Bobba Fett We had tons of requests to offer them on VHX so people could download them and have them on any device at any time and have access to ALL the new episodes right away. Here in youtube it is much more difficult to download to a devise rather than stream and we are only releasing ONE full episode per month. VHX was offered as more of a convenience.
how much would it cost for you to teach me how to hunt?
+garnerharp how much do you have? kidding. It is not a matter of how much it would take but how long would it take. Hunting is an experience more than a skill. Hopefully these videos can help in some way. Thanks for the comment! -TIM
Great video but your music blarring over yer quit little voices. Couldn't hear a word you said. I'd fire yer sound guy.
