Jess Tastes Mortlach 12 year old

Jess tasted the marvellous Mortlach 12 Year Old for you this week! If you haven't tried it already, you'll surely want to after this 🥃
Nose:
It really hits you with this ripe fruitiness, like ripe bananas, but also there's a bit of dried fruit in there, probably from the sherry casks. And this savoury quality, this meatiness is what Mortlach is known for definitely running through underneath.
Palate:
It's unctuous in your mouth. Again, that ripe fruit is almost more like a mango. Now, loads of spices here, way more than on the nose. This dry cocoa on the side of your tongue and again, this savoury note running underneath. The only way to describe it is meatiness, as with Mortlach.
Finish:
Then the finish is super dry, super spicy, with loads of that oak coming through. It just makes you want to take another sip.

It can't be a Mortlach review without parroting "Meatiness". BTW, is that "Golden Amber Colour" natural or fake? ANY chill-filtration? And what's that ABV?
