Currently riding xtreme 150 2013 model. Got etch to upgrade bike as current one being 10+ yr old. Test rode both x440 n Maverick along with all 300-450 cc bikes. Meteor: costs same as Maverick top end but less power n can't go above 115 plus not much equipments. Hunter/ classic-only looks otherwise not vfm. In fact re bike i feel very overrated. Triumph: engine is very refined but read all after sales horror stories so skipped it. Bajaj: no way😂😂. They still make cheap bike (ns400z😂). Finally Maverick is bike which ticks all my requirements. Harley is good but i found Maverick more comfortable. I am being 5 ft 11, bike looks small on me but i found bike is very nimble, powerful with good specs. Planning to get next year (have very strong belief always skip 1st lot of bike/car if newly launched). Only negative (nit picking) is instrument cluster which is kind of smaller but not big deal. Hope by next year, hero do some upgrade. Keep up good work brother.

@@vishnupillai300 Rode honda highness as well. But thing with those 350 cc classic/ meteor/ hunter / cb highness clones is they maxed out at 110 kmph with pillion which current 150 cc also do. Want more power, torque engine with less complexity. Hero 440 engined bikes are good. Test rode both hd x440 and Maverick back to back. Found mavrik very agile, light inspite 187 kg. That's what impressed me.
similar situation.i have a 150 cc bike Yam SZR 2011make. 180cm tall. looking to upgrade and i am getting highly inclined towards Mavrick. only waiting for RE Guirella 450 before I make a final decision.
Got a test ride of this bike , absolutely fell in love with the suspension absorption , small turning radius and Torque. If you're around 6ft , make sure you get pic clicked of you on the bike to see how it looks because it might look a bit small for this height. Only drawback is the rear end of the design , otherwise a near perfect bike for both city commutes and touring..... Hope to see mods like tail tidy and stuff. I eventually went for the 2024 CB350 for the refinement , reliability & because it suited my height.
How are the looks compared to harley 440 according to you? Does it look big, premium and worth 2.5 lacks plus tag? If price would not have been the issue, what you would have bought?

Heat I never feel anytime after riding 2000km ...one thing I think you missed here ....that is wind blast above 100km/hr speed ....there is no wind shield and it becomes very struggling ride above 100 km/hr speed ...company must provide a good wind shield or a some faring kind thing to overcome windblast which can increase in performance and also can give a good milage also .....and one more thing ...still all accessories not available in showroom ....which is dis appointing ... Being a premiere bike company should give attension to this ....then sky is the limit for this bike ....

Normally Mavrick's engine never heats as i clearly mentioned it's because of high temperature 🤒 otherwise heat optimisation is very good 😊.

So agar Brand jyada value karta hai to Ofcourse Harley perfect hai but fully value for money chahiye then Mavrick is the best option. I have one small doubt that really stopped from buying this bike.. When i took test ride i really felt hard to down shift the gear from high to low, when i asked the same question the showroom mechanic replied its a demo bike and its not serviced and he also said the new bike gears actually super smooth. My question is a demo bike and demo ride is meant to clear all your doubts, actually a demo vehicle need to be maintained really well and showroom people will do that. I own exrtreme 150 2013 model, gears shift is good. Please give honest feedback how is the gear shift works from top to low is it smooth or hard and you are the right person to ask bcz there is no single bike in my city Davangere, Karnataka.
Hey brother, thank you so much for your kind words. When I first rode the Maverick 440, it wasn’t a demo unit, and I found the gearing to be well - balanced - neither too tight nor too smooth. However, during my extended ride on the demo unit for the review and mileage testing video, I noticed that shifting into 4th and 6th gear occasionally felt a bit stiff. Not overly tight, but there was definitely some resistance. Interestingly, I encountered a similar issue with my XMR 210. After some investigation, I realized it wasn’t a gear issue at all, but rather a problem with the clutch cable. In the case of the XMR, the clutch cable was jammed, and once I replaced it, the shifting became buttery smooth. So, I believe the gear system of the Maverick 440 is perfectly fine, but the clutch cable may be unlubricated or stiff. If you’re planning to purchase the Maverick 440-or any bike, for that matter-make sure to inspect the clutch, gear, and brake cables thoroughly. Sometimes, new bikes sit in the workshop for an extended period, which can cause cables like the clutch or throttle to stiffen or jam. Final verdict: The gearing on the Maverick 440 is smooth, but as I mentioned, it's always a good idea to check these key components before making a decision.

I have not yet ridden the Honda CB350, so it is difficult for me to compare it at this time. However, I plan to ride the CB350 soon and will be able to provide a comparison then. But i know the Mavrick 440 has no vibrations 😊.

@@abhinav_7476 buy Maverick, much better than cb350. I tested both extensively and booked Maverick. Cb350 is literally a 4 gear bike as the 5th is an overdrive with no pull or power. Can cruise smoothly with better mileage. But if you're doing 100 in 5th gear, any overtake you'll have to shift to 4th, even a slight flyover or strong wind will make you want to shift down. That's the only downside. Maverick has a bigger engine, more power and torque, an extra gear and much better fun due to 17 inch wheels. Also the suspension I felt was great. Good for both city and highways. Yes the Honda feels more premium and certainly more refined, but it's boring compared to Maverick. This will drink a bit more petrol but provide a lot more fun in all road conditions compared to RE or Honda 350s
Vibration is not everything..CB 350 lacks bottom end torque in higher gears..The engine will knock once you go below 40kmph even in 3rd gear..You have to downshift to extract torque..Mavrick will pull without any hesitation even in top gear..Also topend performance of CB 350 is better than REs but not as good as Mavrick that has a 6th gear and more power which gives it more topend punch..CB 350 literally has just 4 gears..The 5th cog is just for cruising and it has literally nothing in it...
Respected designer of the hero maverick 440 bike.. please change the meter console of the bike.. get some technology from TVS please.. (tvs rtr 310 cc) bike has best meter console provided by TVS. Please i request to all Hero company's engineers that to show your talent to enhance the maverick 440 bike's meter console.. or if you are not able to make it then get a technology from TVS.. We don't expect the 3 lakh onroad price bike having such a low quality, low features meter console. Honda highness is a good bike as well..But performance wise I think Mavrick is better.

Use motul 300v engine oil or liquid molly engine oil. It will solve heating issue and vibration of this bike to greater extent.
