  • Okay everyone, this video is way longer than we usually post, but because of our huge order this year of annuals and the PW 2023 varieties, it made for a longer video that I think you will enjoy. I have also included what they look like after about 3 weeks of growing them in their cans. As they became acclimated to our climate, I made sure to keep them happy. I've also explained that process. As always thanks so much for joining us in our garden. We're glad you're here!

They are really the main plants I purchase. Great plants, great options for sure. I'm glad you think so too. 😁

Superbena white out it one of my favorite of their verbenas. I do love the superbena cloudburst a little more though. They look similar but that blue/gray stripe in the white. I just think that’s such a gorgeous plant! 😩 I’m excited to see how yours turn out I’m sure it’ll be stunning!

Glad to hear it did well for you and that it's one of your favorites. Can't wait to see how it does for sure. I actually found cloudburst at Lowes yesterday, how funny. They didn't have any blooms on them but the picture looked very cool. I might have to try that one too. Right now, I have so many annuals to plant, it's crazy. LOL! My back yard looks like a mini nursery. Haha. Once I get everything planted up, I will be able to see what room I have for more. Have a great day and thanks for your comment. :)

We have a dwarf boomerang lilac in a pot and it’s magnificent and smells so good
This will be the fourth summer for it.

Would love to see if you can get it to bloom three times. I've had mine for three years and it's definitely "leaped" and has a full show in the spring but even after immediately deadheading spent blooms, it doesn't flower again.
Mine is in a large planter in zone 7a here on the northeast coast.
I feed it a little and let it dry out well between waterings and it's a typical lilac blooming habit here. Maybe I'll move it for a fourth time. It's had a tour of the whole garden!
So let me know! Gkad I found your cgannel. Although the "Ontario Oregon" family is dropping tons of PWs in the ground, you're voice is so soothing and it's clear you value every pot you pull from the box.

Thanks for sharing, I bought last yr some proven winners supertunia they didn't make it. I live in Tampa fl maybe I should have kept them in their containers before planting. I tried a couple of times no luck with them. 😢

Oh yes, I know how that can happen. Sometimes it gets hot an humid here in early spring, which has zapped our pants on occasion. It wasn't until I took the time to get the plants more established until I had better success. Sometimes they needed to be watered multiple times a day when it really became hot. Last summer we had unusually humid and hot days for about 7 day s in a row. It sure is hard on the plants. I feel your pain for sure. Hang in there. Have a great day. :)
