I've been using lizard bedding from Petco for years--same bag--and it works as well as any ground walnuts. Add a few drops of NuFinish polish and the cases will come out clean and slick.
The drier sheets are put into the tumbler with the dark used media only (no brass). This will absorb quite a bit of the polish reside as well as a good bit of the carbon etc. that is removed from the brass. I cut them into strips so they move around easier. It just helps you extend the life of the tumbling media. I hope this helps.
2024; FA media, $25 for 15 lbs on A'zon Lizard bedding at P,co $20 for 10Qt (14lbs) Walnut blasting media at HD, $25 for 25 lbs I think the biggest difference would be that the lizard stuff would be cleaner, less dust due to intended application. I would be interested to see if anyone ever did any kind of performance comparison between the options.
I found little to no difference with either option. In my opinion they are the same minus the cost. I neither considered nor paid attention to the dust factor.

I've found the same to be true. Thanks for the feedback.
How do you use the dryer sheets

Very useful information. Thank you.
I bought walnut media blasting compound from Home Depot way cheaper than buying tumbling media.
