Hey Colleen & Antoine - may I suggest some merchandise? You need some 'Les Frenchies'-branded keyboard protectors because I'm sure I can't be the only subscriber drooling over my laptop every Saturday morning!!
Just got back from Paris last month and I was so amazed how INEXPENSIVE food is there, compared to Ireland and Switzerland, where I also traveled, and especially the Pacific Northwest, where I live. As you guys highlight, you can eat exceptionally well in Paris for very reasonable prices. Except for the current heat wave, I wish I was back there now so I could go to the places you recommend
My son had a blast in Paris! Thanks to your videos he knew exactly what to do and how to protect himself from pickpockets. BTW, Antoine, my son did just as you did on the metro and he said he was able to observe everybody and felt super safe, so that nobody could get behind him. Thank you!
Bonsoir les frenchies. My cousin Raymond is visiting me for a few days in Cape May NJ. He is a Francophile and francophone too and we traveled to Paris ensemble in January 2020. We spent our evening binge watching les frenchies episodes. So enjoyable i had to let you know and thank you again for your fantastic series. A bientôt, Josef.
How nice to see you infront of metro Anvers and around the upper 8th. A very nice area for walking, restaurants and community. I Stayed at l’ Hotel du Square Anvers in January enface de place Anvers. And to see you next on Rue de Rambuteau was special . Im staying on that bustling street for a week during my return to Paris in September before heading to Saint Malo and Mount Saint Michelle and traveling for a month through france. So many wonderful restaurants, cafes and shops. I’ve been to Mamiche several times. Excellent sandwich and especially outstanding pastry and breads. The staff are so nice too. I had petite déjeuner there almost every morning. Thank you Les Frenchies for another triumphant day. Josef.
It’s 9:10 am here in Kentucky USA. I’m watching this and my palate is dead….I can’t think of anything available here that would wake it up! I don’t want to covet your food opportunities in Paris, but I sure look forward to going back and trying a variety of food that is hard to come by where I live. As it’s said, “Paris is always a good idea!” Thank you for sharing, you two!
We are going to be spending just one day in Paris and have been binge watching your videos to determine how to best plan our visit. We know one day can't do Paris justice, but one day is all we have, but I feel confident we will have a wonderful time. Thank you for such informative content. 😊
Will be in Paris in three weeks and cannot wait to enter Mamiche for this Roll! Holy! Thanks for all your videos, we are best prepared for our trip because of you two! Greetings from Germany
Antoine: "Let me take another bite." Mais oui, go for it! Love all your food videos (and the others, too) for tips on good and inexpensive eats all over the city.
We’re coming to Paris in just a few weeks and we’re staying in Montparnasse. We’ve been looking forward to having a crepe here so I’m so glad you’ve shown one of the places to choose from. Thank you!
Great video! I'm going to be there with my girlfriend this coming week. Looking forward to this trip. You're videos have been both entertaining and informational.
Good afternoon from Canada. I have been a subscriber for quite some time and I so wished you had been doing UA-cam years ago when I went to Paris , lucky to have been a handful of times, as you are a goldmine of information and I so enjoy the enthusiasm in which you talk about this wonderful city. Watching you both absolutely enjoying the wonderful food and how descriptive you are has me salivating and wishing to hop on the next plane. Thank you
Love watching y'all. We visited France last fall for the first time. Watched all your videos & used your log quite a bit. Paris was amazing but driving to the D-day beaches & Lourdes were definitely hilights. Y'all are truly living your best life. Look forward to your videos
My son and I were in Paris in early June this year and I already miss it. The food is fantastic, just like Guy from DDD says, stop and take a look around and you really empathize places like this. I made a list of places to eat from your channel and they’re all over the top. One place in particular Brutus was amazing. Plus we found an amazing Sicilian pizza place too, WOW! I can’t wait to get back to Paris and explore more, including the French countryside like Lyon. Thank You! for all the information that helped make our trip amazing!
I am so glad that I've just eaten breakfast before watching this. It is a great video. The various ethic foods available is a great idea to highlight. Both of you had joy and delight coming through while eating these foods. Very genuine. Thank you so much.
That was a nice quick video! The crepes were very interesting! Living in Miami Lakes now I'm not missing the Cuban fare but that sandwich did look very tasty!
I sincerely enjoy your posts, and to see how international the foods in Paris have became, multi cultural . Couscous was once really popular. I ate at great restaurants in Bombay sur Seine, the Indian area dans le 10ieme.
I absolutely love street food in all countries. Those galletes look awesome. Living in Dubai, we have some of the best Lebanese food in the World, but I'll definitely try Man'ouché. I love Cuban food. I hope they have a good Cuban Sandwich and their amazing Cuban coffee. I'll bring you some fresh Jalapeno peppers next time I come to Paris. Next trip to Paris, I will try everyone of these places.
Bonjour, DaddyA and MamaC! I bingeee all ur videos! I was looking for vlog of French patisserie and boulangerie and UA-cam algorithm lead me to u! Happy to see ur light flair presenting it, sometimes it's funny when u fight over a bread or pastry! But the all must have in Paris tours are all incroyable! Been on a hunt for best pastries n breads. Keep all videos coming! Keep us hungry! Peace&Grace, noah💗🔥🇫🇷
So I am on my second iced coffee because it is hot hot hot here in NYC! And, as you know, it is my Saturday morning routine to tune in to Les Frenchies. Once again, you never disappoint! RIght now all I can do is small bites and lots of seltzer water with lemon and ice cubes in powerful air conditioning! Thanks so much for this video -- stay safe and cool in this heat!
Folks, if you ever do another video on personal security when out and about in Paris I would be interested in some suggestions about what type of bags to keep money and belongings in. I usually wear a rucksack but I get the impression that using one in Paris would not be secure with all the pick pockets. I notice in the background of your video a lot of Parisians appear to wear over the shoulder bags as oppposed to rucksacks. Love the food shown, as always.
0:44 I didn’t know about Chez Jeanne, the gallettes look delicious. We went to Brutus. they have a smaller menu but the crepes and gallettes were excellent
Great post as always, guys. I often make galettes for my wife for breakfast at weekends; she's gluten-free so the buckwheat doesn't affect her like an ordinary pancake would - plus it's easy and keeps me in good books 😂. 👍
Love watching your videos. Wished we had seen your youtube videos before we visited Paris. The food you show is so much better than what we experienced on our trip.
I'm just amazed by the lunch formule! I live in an expensive area of the US (one that caters to rich tourists) and if I went to a local lunch place downtown a sando, appetizer, and dessert would be in the $30-$40 range.
We have realised we don't have enough days in Paris to eat all the delicious food you recommend! We love your videos and your Paris Travel Guide - they are our bible. We are coming from Australia for the Rugby World Cup - would love if you could share any tips specific to the RWC in October.
As an Aussie.. heading to Paris next year, looking forward to a fresh baguette with butter... with our vegemite smeared all over the butter... Sacre Bleu...mmmmmmmmmmmmm
Great tips! Ethnic food is so yummy. Love the variety in this video. Looks like I'll be eating some crepes, Lebanese and Korean foods (the most popular cuisine now) when I'm in Paris! Merci beaucoup from San Francisco, California
Love your videos! Could you possibly do some things, more specifically restaurants and such that can seat larger groups of people. I have found that challenge traveling with many family members in cities like Paris it can be difficult to find places that can easily seat a group of 12 or 15 people.
Love your videos and watching them to prepare us for our holiday in Paris next April. Would it be possible to make a video about how to get to Mont St Michel by train from Gare du Nord please? I'm trying to plan to do that but it is stressing me out. We don't want to join a tour but do it ourselves. Thanks. Keep up the great work.
Everything looks delicious. I love anything Greek (I am not), particularly gyros, baklava, spanikopita. I'm guessing Lebanese food comes close? Nice variant from French foods. Hi from Wisconsin 🍺 😊

Watching this at almost 2 in the morning and my mouth is watering. Very good presentation! Looking forward to trying these for myself!
I enjoy waking up on Saturdays and seeing these videos - the only thing better would be eating a crepe
Whar
I watch the videos on Saturday morning as well and just got some authentic French croissants at my local French bakery! Divine ❤

Bachir was honestly one of the best ice creams I've ever had. The apricot was insane

I’m in Paris now and ate in some of les frenchies recommendations and they are spot on!
this crepe seems like heaven... the petit josselin, on the same street is my favorite, give it a try too!
Thank for the recommendations. I’m going to Paris in August. Can’t wait to explore this amazing city.

Will be in Paris next week for a few days. It’s been 4 years since I had proper French food. Can’t wait! Thanks for the tips. :)

I can vouch for the ice cream Antonio pointed out. Soooo good! Arrive twenty minutes before close because they usually end new orders at this time.

How they get the chicken so tender... The technique is called velveting and basically they mix in a bit of bicarb and let it stand for 30 min.
