Same! especially as someone who has no desire for plumbing, tanks, built in stoves or toilets in a build, the luxury house-style vans are stale and unrealistic.
I have a 93 Dodge Ram Van and I LOVE it. It definitely needs a paint job. We're changing the fuel pump today and I found your video of your dad changing the pump in this one.
Thanks for sharing this. I'm looking at Chevy/GMC 1500s, so it's very helpful. I agree with other commenters: that boat ladder is genius, and I'm definitely adding that to my build/idea list. First time I've seen that. Thanks again!
EXCELLENT VIDEO YOUNG MAN!!!! About to build my 98 15 pass van and you provided me with some GREAT IDEAS! Keep on vannin! Thanks for NOT showing the pots and pans shit 🤣🤣🤣
I found your videos one day. Have watched most now.Enjoy them. I look for the green van whenever i go to gunstock. Lol anyway keep doing cool stuff and videos
Bad ass.. only janky thing was the solar wiring.. u shoulda just made it to size and then saved the extra wire.. there was more than enough wire to run a whole new line wrapping around the car multiple times
I would love some recommendations for how you painted this van because I think it turned out great!! Wanna paint my soon and would love some advice/pointers
Yeah, nice body style on those years. Do you still have the van? What engine does it have and what was your average gas mileage. I can't imagine travelling without knowing the cost per tank. Anythig close to 18mpg on the hiways? Also, no one ever seems to talk about reliability and other mechanical problems. Any issues with yours?
Can you wire in a resister to slow the fan speed and therefore quiet it a little? I think all of the alterations you have done since your first layout make sense.
I didn't really see any difference in gas mileage. I could kinda feel a weight difference going around corners. Overall I think it worked out great and would do it again.
Did you put a swivel on your passenger seat? We have a 98 dodge van we are working on and would like to put in a swivel for the passenger seat, just not sure how to go about it and what all is needed
You don't want to cook in your van bro. That fan is not enough of a hood system to get all the grease out. Your carpet and ceiling will become coated in greasy grossness
I love builds like this, I get sick of seeing Brand New Expensive Vans With top of the line everything inside it.
Same
Me too. You should check out Cheap RV Living. So many great "no builds" on there in all types of vehicles and loads of trips for traveling cheaply.
Same! especially as someone who has no desire for plumbing, tanks, built in stoves or toilets in a build, the luxury house-style vans are stale and unrealistic.
That boat ladder idea is very clever!
I like how you made it simple, but still got the heater.
Love the roof rack. Boat ladder is a awesome idea.
Pretty sweet build, not over done, just perfect
Thank you

Nice to see keeping it simple the basics of neccesity.
Emergency housing in this day and age perfect.
That roof ladder is a brilliant idea
I just bought a 98 and this vehicle gave me a ton of plans

Steering wheel tray! Life chancing! Great build. Like that it isn’t over done. Some great hacks I will be borrowing.
Way to go, I think you did a good job. I have different ideas, but your van looks cozy. I hope you have a lot of great times in it. Take care.
EXCELLENT VIDEO YOUNG MAN!!!!

I'm glad you were able to get some ideas. Thanks for watching!

Great! Appreciate you sharing.
Good idea for the ladder bro!!!! Nobody has thought of that
Love the old American vans. It will always be my 1st choice.
Nice dude, appreciate you sharing
Thisssss is the van build i need. so practical
Blue Van Dan, a UA-cam channel, has one of those diesel heaters and really likes it (and he heats his newly acquired long school bus).
About to buy a 99 1500 RAM high top to convert. I can use all the help I can get.
Good job man simple and cool.
That thing is so cool!
Nice im picking up a 2000 Ram van 3500 extended tomorrow.
I love the extended van's. You should post a video when you get yours
That’s a bad ass fan lol
I to like the body style my 95 Dodge ram van b2500 series that was fully customized by primetime looks like brand new still today all original from 95
I found your videos one day. Have watched most now.Enjoy them. I look for the green van whenever i go to gunstock. Lol anyway keep doing cool stuff and videos
Thanks glad you liked the videos. Maybe I'll see on the slopes!

That paint job is excellent. I may need tips when I'm ready to paint my 1997 Dodge Ram 3500. She's a big girl. Her name is Jean Claude Damn Vann.
The extra wire and the way you ran it is driving me crazy but I like the full send
I would love some recommendations for how you painted this van because I think it turned out great!! Wanna paint my soon and would love some advice/pointers
great job man :)
Awesome👍
FUNNY AF ENDING😂😂😂😂
Nice! I own a 94 B350. I got that looooonnngggg one. I was wondering the name of the rack you got holding your deck up on there?
Mind sharing info on materials you used to build the roof rack? Currently looking at a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 Wagon.
What switch panel is that? Have the same van and looking for something exactly like that. Ty in advance, I love the van!
Excellent!
I have a question
Is your truck 6 or 8 cylinders?
How many kilometers do they travel per liter?
Dope

2 years late but did it come with those window frames inside or were they built?
Off topic, but nice watch!
Cool...i bought a 97 dodge shorty lastnight! Do you happen to have a link for the ladder you bought?
Hey bud, looks great. I just bought a '97 dodge ram van. whats the dimensions of your mattress in inches?
I have a queen size mattress. I never measured it I just cut the mattress to shape
It's a great van. Just curious how much does the wooden roof rack weigh ?
Chad energy
Where’d you get the charge controller, battery, and solar panels?
Thanks for the video, how tall are you ? I’m 6’2” and I’m looking for that kind of van ,how wid is your bed I guess 30” ?
I'm not sure how big that bed was. I am also 6'2" and I had to sleep diagonal in that van
Can you wire in a resister to slow the fan speed and therefore quiet it a little? I think all of the alterations you have done since your first layout make sense.
That's a good idea I might try it
How tall are you? I'm contemplating laying out a bed like that in my 97 Dodge van but I don't think I'd be very comfortable
how many miles did it have when you bought it and how many miles does it go up too?
Hi! How’s it been with your roof deck? Gas mileage, weight? I would love to build one just like yours on my ‘99 Chevy Express. Thank you!
I’m looking for a swivel mount too but haven’t had any luck finding one 🤷🏼♀️ 😞
@@downbytheriver235 no we didn’t, actually selling our van and looking for a newer model.
How tall are you?
How tall.are you? I'm 6'4" and looking at a b350
I'm 6'2"
Where did you find the brackets for your roof deck?
They were just u bolt's. You can find them at most hardware stores
Can you stand up in the van?
No we could not
what size bed do you have? i have the same model of van, but a queen - looking to downsize
I bought a queen size memory foam and just cut it up until I got the shape I wanted
Are you selling this van?
You don't want to cook in your van bro. That fan is not enough of a hood system to get all the grease out. Your carpet and ceiling will become coated in greasy grossness
Start cooking something good to eat 😂
