Very helpful video! The step by step instructions were great. Maytag service center wanted to charge us $340+ and a service person would be able to come out until next week. Following your video I was able to fix it myself within 2hrs plus saved a bunch of money! Thanks for making this video!
Awesome video! Thank you for making it! I used it most of the way to solve the exact same problem. However, my filter had half the gunk that yours did. I didn’t end up doing it. it might be easier for other folks to just cut the ear clips off that hose, That is the exit from the pump. Versus removing all the other stuff like you did. I also recommend removing the plastic parts off the other side of the rail slides. It let the rails bend a lot better. (You might have done this off camera.) FYI, this took me about 4 hours to do in total. Highly recommending testing in some for or fashion before tucking the dishwasher back in.
Appreciate the tips for making the job easier. We didn't remove anything on the other side of the rail slides. I never thought of taking that exit hose off to clear the clog. Thanks for sharing!

This video saved my life. Mine was a lot worse, a lot more of build up. Thank you.
You're welcome and thanks for the feedback.

You sir are my hero
Mine was almost the exact same but had like a thin metal coil with the filter and I am not sure how to put it back in
Did it myself for free, still sucks.
This shit sucks.
