Yes! A great era for films! And if UA-cam yanks this one, the Pharaoh won't be the only one cursing, and we'll see to it that they are wrapped in bandages and calling for their mummy!
I love your back and forth conversation with the guest, he’s very personable and good natured. You should have him on again, maybe just to chat without a movie.
I had forgotten what these "Saturday kiddie show" movies were like. Our host in Miami was "M.T. Graves". Thanks for bringing back memories that made me smile.
One of my favorite movie, your is very clear ,the coma rotary betweenness IS HILARIOUS. I WAS AN AVID CREATURE FEATURE WATCHER (moons and moons ago) thanks for the hair play and Harry says players

The "Curse" genre of horror is always fun. In fact archeology horror movies would be super boring if there wasn't a chance you unleash a curse whenever you find and open something old. For example, imagine watching a movie where archeologists open the tomb of "King Whatever" and nothing happens. Luckily in this movie everything you imagine happening happens! So see you when we watch....(in a slow scary voice)....."PHARAOHS CURSE".
@@troyhickman4904 ❤😂❤ yes your right,😂😂❤❤ thank you 💞 I really needed this ❤️ You make my day so much more happier 💗💗💗 God bless you and all of your love ones, with all my love and respect from a Grandma 💞🌹
Or, a curse that just can be viewed as a bunch of natural occurrences. Some guy dies from a bee sting, but he didn't know he was allergic. Bad luck. Car accident? He didn't get his brakes checked because the warning light burned out. Bad luck. Taken individually, they seem normal, but the audience is putting 2 and 2 together during the whole movie.
I’ve been a fan of these, since I was a kid. I remember our moms would drop us off at the Indiana theater for the matinee’s, and we would watch movies, including night of the living, dead, Dracula movies, which are really scary, and the Frankenstein ones which are pretty scary to , I lived on a farm and every night I had to go out and collect the warm eggs from the chickens in the evening I lose and I don’t always worry about getting back from the barn with the warm eggs in my bicycle basket before the sun went down, and I was really scared🎉
For anyone watching, if you ever get stung by a scorpion, do NOT do what the actor did! It's not a snake bite nd you can't suck the poison out. The FIRST thing you do is locate the scorpion so it doesn't keep stinging your patient as you're treating them! You don't need to do anything for a scorpion sting. It'll hurt, but that'll go away in a few hours.
I got stuck by a scorpion, I went to a doctor who was near and got a shot of epinephrine. Because I was having an extreme allergic reaction, what a trip! My butt, half of it swelled twice the size, after the shot all was well
I really enjoyed this one , it's probably my favorite up to now . Love the whole Egyptian tomb mystery , and that Egyptian girl from the desert was totally smokin" , very attractive and perfect for the part . As usual Vincent , Tangella , and Livingston made the entire experience so very entertaining . Thank you guys , great movie !
Couldn't stay up late enough last night to watch this film, but I watched it today. I disagree with your analysis of the films on Friday versus Saturday night. This film was excellent. And of course you all being there makes it worth watching the show.
"Pharaoh" doesn't actually mean "king" in Egyptian. It means "the big house" and refers to the palace, in the same way that people today might say "the white house" when they mean the President.
had to enter again. I could tell that this wasn't made in Egypt. The sand over there and eastern bounderies of Mediterranian Sea into Arabia is totally different, but no matter the movie was ok for its day. And the high resolution made it easier to view. All actors spoke very well(no stammering or sluffings of speech) making everything said understandable
Luv Livingston with green hair. Butler serving breakfast posh cafe in Cal. Vincent, still got contacts in Luton ?. I bought two LE Vellocetes in Luton ( noddy bikes ), Keep up the work and feed Tangella fresh meat .
Can't share the below sentiments re: this film, in fact, I started getting restless towards the end. This is no gem. As for the mummy or whatever he was, he is not and never will be thee Boris Karloff.
Actually, "Pharaoh" means "great house". In the same sense of "Fall of the House of Usher". Or Lincoln's assessment of the split between North and South -- an ancient Biblical reference: "A House divided against itself cannot stand." In other words, "House " means "Family". So, Pharaoh is more than just "King". He is revered as "The Father of his county". Even though this film was shot on the cheap it is still surprisingly high quality photography. The indication is that each frame has pure blacks, pure whites, and full spectrum of grays in between. Whereas poor quality would be absence of widely varrying shades gray (contrast is too High). Or nothing but mushy gray (contrast is too Low).
"Pharaoh's Curse" - which can only mean: The Sahara Desert. There will be: Sand in my pic nic basket. Sand in my SPAM-wiches. Since this is a film made in the 1950s, expect to see: Women archeologists crossing the Sahara Desert wearing high heel shoes. (Only wild camels leave skid marks on the desert sands :)

In the late 60's early 70's when I was a tween there was a program on Friday nites on WGN channel 9 in Chicago called Creature Features that ran old horror films. They played Henry Mancini's Experiment In Terror as the theme song. Some of those old movies scared me silly. There's a website for it too. I'm digging your nineties goth look. Love you guys! Would love to see 'Audrey Rose' & 'Rosemary's Baby' Livingston, you ROCK! And Tangella... we could hang!!! Vincent, love your interviews! 🖤☠️🖤

The movie is not boring Vincent. I love it, &, I also enjoy the break with u tlking to the guest. Enjoy tangella as well. Mr. Livingston is more on the quiet side I notice.
I love that the mysterious Egyptian woman has no luggage, yet still manages to change her dress a couple times on the journey. Wish I could that, it would make travelling a whole lot easier. 😂😂😂😂
From what I found on Wikipedia, looks like we'll be spending a little time with Bast (the Egyptian Cat Goddess) in this film. Will we have a guest bringing any feline friends? Surely the Lady of Bubastis will want a representative or two present to ensure that all is pleasing to Her

Wow….I didn’t expect such great cinematography from a 50s-era creature feature….Writing is good, as well. Excellent ❤

This film has remarkable resolution in B/W, good sound for 1956. The copywrite at beginning reads MCMLVi, so the quality of it is great.
The freaking musical score is also really nice!!
It may have been released in 1957.

Oh, what a fine movie! Thanks for posting it! I agree the first three mummy movies are the best.
For such a low budget film, this is really a bit of a gem. I'd give it a worthwhile to watch star.
Pharaoh " Ooouch.....#%&!!!!&%**!!!, stubbed my toe!!!". The Pharaoh's curse.
