It makes me happy she gave credit to the craftsman for the plaster work.
this is a clear example of how a little bit of paint can completely transform a space and make it look so amazing!
The right treatment for this home. I like that she kept the things that were able to be (re)used and that the client was equally pragmatic about keeping versus replacing.
I think it is nice and a good example of what one can do on a very small renovation budget. It is easy to make something amazing on an unlimited budget like studio McGee does but it is much harder to cater to real people which is what the designer has managed to accomplish here

I love this home. The white isn't overpowering. There's a hint of colour here and there. I'm glad they keep the windows, it makes a detailed difference.

I was never really sure about an all white kitchen, but was won over (especially w/countertop selection). I also love the bright foyer and white painted bricks. It's all so lovely. Great job!
I love how much brighter and warm the house looks, very well done. Huge props to your craftsman on the details. I can't believe this took only 4 weeks.
I like that the designer and her clients decided to keep most of what was at the house and re-use it. I would've use a diferent kind of backsplash for the kitchen to bring it more character and another dinning table with softer lines. But that's my personal taste.

Maybe I would need to see it in person but I actually liked the original interior design of the house.

Yup we’re the only holdouts. All white makes me feel like I’m in a psych hospital. I need color to feel cozy in my space rather than feel like I’m in an art gallery.

This designer has so much of character unlike other designers who give boring narratives.
Is white a new trend? For me, too much of any color can be overwhelming and white is one of them.
Though white is a good color that matches with any color, this home doesn't make me feel calm and cozy but up on the air...
I like off white instead that creates refreshing but at the same time cozy as well~

Love your energy! The blue DR ceiling is lovely. Only off feeling I had was the cabinetry in the LR, seems to be shrinking away from the fireplace...like the two styles don’t like each other .... the gap between seems odd, especially as it is tight against the wall. Like a dinner guest leaning away from an overtalker to their right. Bad analogy?

Glenda, I agree with all you said. It looks like they ran out of budget money to complete the living room causing it to be so blah! Since it flows so well with both the entrance and the dining room it could easily accept some white painted wainscoting as well as some additional ceiling wood trim. The upper wall and ceiling could be painted and wall papered blue like the dining room or in a complimentary bright citrusy color such as chartreuse. The fireplace is begging to be flanked by built in cabinets (move the beautiful blue ones to the dining room to replace the metal and glass console which should be moved behind the sofa so as to greet you as you enter from the foyer into the living room. To enliven the fireplace, the wall behind the mirror could be papered like panels of the ceiling. The mirror needs something to reflect, such as a Nelson bubble pendent lamp. The concrete fire surround is too beige to match anything in the room and need covering with something such as craftsmen style tile work to complement the overpowering wood mantle. I'd also change out the blah overstuffed sofa with something slighter and more colorful. The one big coffee table, though it has beautifully curved wooden legs, looks too massive. Maybe a series of three connecting tables or ottomans (Blue Dot has some great shapes) would liven up the seating area. Ok, I know that's a lot of changes, but I would keep the pale blue lounge chairs! I really do like the rest of the ground floor rooms and how the use of white with blue accents brings them together in a bright classic but contemporary look.

I love white and blue aspects. It comes over as very cold and sterile though. I hope the homeowners have made it personal and homely. It would take so little and I don't know why the design team didn't go that extra yard.
I like the quality the house & home always has in all the designs but is set for sale not like if someone's home. It feels cold I hardly ever see a family picture or art in the walls or the welcome sing.

besides the new kitchen, the only design (if you can call it that) implementation I see is that everything was painted white. When in doubt white it out I guess?
