Hey Kova, have you tested it out on a Davinci Resolve video editing software timeline?
For example, in that software, to "zoom in and out" you need to hold ALT + mousewheel (VS regular windows being CTRL+mousewheel) so I'm guessing the red version of the knob wouldn't work in davinci for zooming in/out of the timeline, and just that one function to scrub left/right eh?
The double USB power cables were an annoyance, they could have binded them together but I bought third party cable sleeves and it was all sorted out. I would say the wrist-rest was definitely an upgrade, it is not as plush as the Huntsman's one but it seemed like it would last longer as the top surface seems to have a thicker weaved fabric but only time will tell. It's just a pity that Razer does not offer RGB wrist-rests for purchase but only a generic one with no RGB.
I love the look\features on this keyboard. Only thing I wish they would have done different is the cables. Why make 2 cables (clutter) and not a single cable that splits on both ends?
Good point, don't seem like that would been to difficult to do. I would like a keyboard at this price point, and size, to have a valid 5-7 USB hub built into top myself...I mean for like $230, it could be done!

i bought this not long after it came out and then after the 75% they release a orange switch version im so upset
This KB is sooo sexy and i love all those extra knobs and switches.... the only gripe i have with this is the lack of hot swap switches despite the premium price.
Hence why i'm considering the Asus ROG Strix Flare II Animate over this one. If it had hot swap switches at that price, i'd absolutely pick this over Asus' anytime.

You are wrong. The Blackwidow v4 Pro is using Doubleshot ABS Keycaps not PBT (no idea why with such a expensive keyboard)
The same reason apple doesn't include adapter, headphone jack etc
My main! I love it. Leave it on over night and marvel at its beauty as you get up for the bathroom.

is this keyboard hot swappable?
That's about a goofy looking thing. Think I'll just keep my Glorious GMMK Full Size board. I've got every key set to the color I chose. Screw the rainbows gyrating around.
This keyboard allows for single key coloring, no need to loose out on all these features, and macro keys. Razer is KNOWN for thier amazing RGB and options. Hence, the price point.
Wow, thanx for that info! It'd be fun to try a more compact Razor board, but I'm definitely keeping my Glorious GMMK "full-size" boards. I've got 3 of 'em. The oldest one does not see the software. Key caps are now an issue. The last 2 sets of key caps I bought are a disaster imo. They don't let the glowing color through the top of the key NEARLY as well as the older ones. Fortunately, I was able to get ONE set of caps that work great like the older ones, so I'm all set for quite a while!@@creditrazer981
DO NOT buy this keyboard. This keyboard is itself defective. I have contacted with Razer support and their technical support for a whole month and they cannot fix the problem. basically they do not know what it is going on. so they will keep asking replacements for you, so that your right to refund the product will expire (14-day). After trying 3 V4 pro (Yes, 3 times!!!), I would say this product is itself defective. If you havent discovered it, congrat! dun dig it deep cuz you will be disappointed.
What about it is defective? I'd like to do some testing to see if it's happening to me
@@kova_tech its Macro function is not working based on my 3 times experience for three different pro 4. When it runs macro, it will double pressing. Like if I set the macro to type “123”, it will become “123123”. Everything will time 2. To be fair, it can be caused by the software or the keyboard itself. I have other razer keyboard/razer keypads, and they all work except V4 pro.
Basically Razer doesn’t know why it happens. I have provided all these window inf, razer log, videos to them.
I have two videos. 1 is even taken from unboxing to testing. Just in case they try to argue I do something to damage its product. However, they still do not accept it cuz they insisted their 14-day refund policy is everything. They dun care if their product works or not. Once 14-day expires, you can’t do anything except a 1-to-1 swap. That means you can’t ask for refund/getting coupon/change other razer products at all. They will just swap the same product for you. That’s why I got 3. And now I have requested them to do a 2nd testing and send me their testing video.
@@kova_tech FYI I have even tested it in a razer shop in the UK And I have taken the video in razer shop…same issue….the staff dunno how why as well
