She gets a lot of cosmetic procedures done and recently had a nose job. And uses a lot of expensive skincare. Plus she has professionals do her hair and makeup for these videos.

@@Arbee1000Nose jobs don’t necessarily make you look younger but I do think it gives me a more lifted look since the tip of my nose is slightly higher. I do get lots of lasers and peels!! At least a few times a year.
I like how Susan points out that celebrities leave out the procedures that probably make a huge difference. I can’t afford those things, but it would be nice to know, so maybe could pick and choose what I could do.

Not to play Devil’s advocate, but at the least she used the olive oil because she liked it. She at least didn’t give us the “clean and non toxic” rant that usually seems to come with DIY skincare steps. Was definitely expecting a “Gwyneth Paltrow” moment when I saw DIY in the skincare routine.

I truly will never undertsand how can celebrities have all the money and skin experts at their disposal and still make the most outrageous mistakes when caring for their skin. They truly have no excuse.

This video was everything!! Susan you look gorgeous. When I first saw the Shania video I was reacting in horror of the olive oil and sugar cleansing. I was expecting more from her. Her last 2 products were pretty good.

Susan, my mom was an aesthetician in the 90s, she still cannot understand other brands or practices except from those preached by Sisley and Elizabeth Arden and is set in her ways. I feel bad because we have access now to so many great things! I feel like she is left in the 90s as well and goes for facials every day in her aesthetician.

I love Pamela Anderson, she said in an interview quickly that she does lazers and other non surgical things to keep her looking great. She said she did do botox but didn't like it as it causes your face to sag over time, which is true.

So, throwing Hapar’s Bazaar under the bus here. There is already so much misinformation out there on skincare. I appreciate she’s found something that “works” for her skin…but yeah. Lol and I love how she was “gentle” with wiping her exfoliating after she just did what she did with her face. This is why people get so confused and overwhelmed and mess up their skin/barrier more with these DIYs. I just feel like they need to “vet” these routines before they put them out.
BTW: agree with everyone! You just have this “ effervescent” aesthetic! And I’m LOVING your hair color! 💖

Do you not recommend wiping your face with a towel? What else would you use instead?
Just rinsing the cleanser off with water and your hands is more than adequate. Using a towel isn’t necessarily bad but it does count as an exfoliating step since you’re rubbing something physical on your face
This routine stressed me out too. I'm really surprised no one has taught her better at this point.

With all the amazing, affordable skincare products and cleansers on the market now, there is NO EXCUSE for this kind of routine!! Even with your brand- if she likes the feeling the olive oil leaves behind, your purple ginseng cleansing balm or the camellia cleansing oil both leave a slight film on the skin that makes it feel super moisturized, almost like olive oil would. There’s no excuse for this.
We’ve been watching you for so long, we know exactly what you’re going to say and comment on. I expected more from her aging skincare routine.

Yeah this one wasn't as egregious as the Bella Thorne one. I still did a dbl take at the olive oil (of course). Hopefully someone in Shania Twain's orbit will re educate her about cleansing balms and oils.
