Strike Swiftly requires the model with it to start on the table. One thing I’ve done is put it on a trail shaper in a farstalker group. You can deploy them in the middle of the board with their infiltrator and then use the trail shapers redeploy to put them in your DZ within 6” to give to other things scout.

Hello. I am considering to start Tau as my second army. I am considering colour schemes now as I don't liek the stadard white/ what colours did you use to paint these? Suits and croots too?

@@RaggiDrex For suits and tau infantry I used citadels Dark reaper(layer) and Black Templar(contrast) as my main colors. Then Fenrisian grey (layer) , grey knight steel(base), and yreiel yellow(layer) as my details.
For the kroot i went with army painters speed paint. I used satchel brown (speed paint) for the rampagers and lonespear. For the kroot carnivores i used rigor mortis(speed paint) and riekland fleshshade(citadel shade) and the red on them is slaughter red (speed paint).

very interesting idea with the kroot stickying 2 objectives turn 1. i did the math and theres only 2 out of 6 deployments that they can sticky 2 objectives in no mans land and thats only if the opponent doesnt deploy infiltrators to block your scout move.....

I’m just getting back into Warhammer and started with tau this time. One question I had was can you use both kroot and tau units together? I thought I heard that they’re a new separate class this time around
