she makes playing the piano look easy. her hand movement is very smooth and easy. I've watched other famous pianist add a bit of flare to their playing but with her it's just a flow of movements and personally I like it better. the sound is much better imo. I believe it is a sign of a true master to make doing something difficult look easy and achivable
I'm afraid she is suffering very much at the moment... Besides that controversy she's in at the moment, her voice, her channel has been cancelled (hijacked, I dunno). She's getting very hate at the moment, which I think is unjustified in some way. Hope this gets somehow better.
Valentina I enjoy a lot your execution. I am a piano teacher at a Music Institute. My wife is Peruvian, and I'm from CUBA. We are praying for you, and all the brothers and sisters in the Lord in Ukraine. God will protect them , and lead them. I know how difficult it is, because I lived in Cuba till I turned almost 15 years old. God BLESS YOU. THANKS FOR YOUR GREAT PERFORMANCES.
Musicians are equally as essential as doctors and engineers. Without their work and interpretations, historical fine art can never be appreciated today. I've spent 10s of thousands on musical instruments and had never seen that make me back a singld dime, but it gave me that bliss in life that if you can only appreciate if musically inclined, not for show, but for your personal happiness.
For some reason from the couple clips I’ve seen her play I imagined her as an introverted genius, but she’s so expressive and outgoing. This is awesome!
Amazing as always! Your channel's video and her! She's just an amazing pianist who could play the most difficult songs from Lizst and now, being able to know her history better I know that she's also an amazing motivational woman who can cheer us up to follow our dreams! I wish your channel has way more views because all here is pure gold, and I'm sure of that! At least I'm very happy because I am blessed to be able to know this treasure on UA-cam
I have been truly inspired for so many years by this incredible person. Many heartfelt thanks Valentina..you are one of the blessings on this world and you are clearly as wise as you are talented and dedicated to art
actually for me growing up in America when I was younger I was very much into filmmaking and Kubrick was the one who affirmed my love for classical and jazz music. It's been a long road but I'm glad that I developed my taste when I was younger
Brava. Tutti che ho parlato é vero . Ieri, oggi e.domani sara sempre cosi? Non credo ! Dio é miraculoso e voi siete una bravissima pianista anche una belíssima donna, my Princess. Obligato.
I do love how she not afraid to say she studied in the US..she could easily be the voice of Natasha in Rocky and Bullwinkle...I do like her a lot..I like how she said during these hard times we found out we were non essential...oh but she is wrong
she is different than most professional pianists. Ive heard many of her vids, and what makes her different is her direct approach to tempi. Its refreshing not to hear over-Romanticized music, she has a bit of Pollini.
If you just look at her you do not know if she's American,English,Irish,Russian,German or What but if you listen to her talk you know she is Ukrainian \Russian...but if you listen to her play.. you do not care where she is from only a feeling of bliss...
I've been playing piano for 20 years, and I still don't *get* Mozart and Beethoven! They are the vegetables I don't want to eat! :( I just want to eat giant bowls of Prokofiev ice cream all day until my hands fall off!
Find myself with two pressing desires. 1. Must findSome truly amazingGelato, and2. Reach out toMy former Russian Professor, time to get my nose, back in the books.
My father exposed we kids to classical at an early age but did it wrong; he listened to whatever was on the "good music" (classical) station, although he also played records of favorites. To a young ear, the radio makes it all "much the same." But listening to the records was different and then ,when I learned guitar through lessons, there were a couple of Bach pieces in there, and - away I went. Classical can be entertaining to young children, but expose them to specific recordings is my advice - not whatever is on the radio.
Please production company: Don't play music different to the footage! It is too disturbing when fingers and notes don't match, it destroys the magic! So you want a certain piece of music, but want to show a different footage of Valentina? Bad luck, you have to use the audio you are showing her playing!
She's a great pianist. Saw her with Hillary Hahn in Brussels many years ago. It's a great pity she supports Putins crimes in Ukraine wholehartedly... That brings her down completely.

This video couldn’t be more perfect as a Valentina fan who learns Italian
Grazie mille 😊🎼

I was introduced to Valentina as a teenager and I've been obsessed ever since !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, dear João Pedro! Greetings 🤗🤗🤗
She is my favourite of all the current great female performers.
Невероятная женщина!!!!
Valentina is a gem of a pianist and of a human.
Very well expressed and so true. I love Valentina's playing, her personality and hope to see her perform here in the U.S. sometime.
Come, come again , precious Valentina, come again and play the piano! 🙏💐🌞MUSIC IS ESSENTIAL as LIFE , as SOUL is!
She has such a great personality. Her hands float over the keys like a butterfly. It is so impressive to watch.
I love how you play. Bravo! Thank you very much for the wonderful recital you gave in Geneva.
I have been truly inspired for so many years by this incredible person. Many heartfelt thanks Valentina..you are one of the blessings on this world and you are clearly as wise as you are talented and dedicated to art
Vero nice interview. Valentina talk is always interesting

Thank you dear Lady for your music and for your UA-cam channel, it's helping me a lot through this pandemic. It's a splendid food for my soul.
Such a beautiful pianist and a beautiful person
I think the world's greatest musician has found her media. She is very essential.
What a queen ✨

I do love how she not afraid to say she studied in the US..she could easily be the voice of Natasha in Rocky and Bullwinkle...I do like her a lot..I like how she said during these hard times we found out we were non essential...oh but she is wrong
Love Val, she is wonderful, I want to hug her and kiss her fingers.
Good morning Mrs. Valentina.
73% haven't heard the name Mozart? In Europe?
I'm shocked.
In the UK :)
she is different than most professional pianists. Ive heard many of her vids, and what makes her different is her direct approach to tempi. Its refreshing not to hear over-Romanticized music, she has a bit of Pollini.
she speaks english I hear russian. wonderful pianist
"Mozart is so cool"
damn right
If you just look at her you do not know if she's American,English,Irish,Russian,German or What but if you listen to her talk you know she is Ukrainian \Russian...but if you listen to her play.. you do not care where she is from only a feeling of bliss...
Thank You
Nice black dress she wore on stage
"We are sick of coronavirus but coronavirus is not sick of us" ahahahah legendary
When Valentina plays she becomes the most beautiful woman in the world
Estou de acuerdo con Valentina
I've been playing piano for 20 years, and I still don't *get* Mozart and Beethoven! They are the vegetables I don't want to eat! :(
I just want to eat giant bowls of Prokofiev ice cream all day until my hands fall off!
But I gobble up Scarlatti sonatas like gumdrops, so the music doesn't **have** to be stinky for me to like it!
I don't know what my deal is.
What is the name of the first piece she played here?
Rachmaninoff prelude in C# I think
Somebody knows the song in 1:15 ?
rachmaninoff prelude op 32 no 5

Ciao Gabriele, sei andato al concerto che ha tenuto a Noto?
What's the name of the song on 4:20?
Waldstein sonata, Beethoven

Intelligent, selfless, talented and antifa. What a woman!!
The most russian english I have ever heard :D
How were there that many people who don't know Mozart? Really?? That made me sad.
We have a concert outside with a mask, really.
Vale you are a beautiful lady and one of the best pianist of the world but please take off the mask when playing ....

It's a great pity she supports Putins crimes in Ukraine wholehartedly...
That brings her down completely.
Ukraine has been killing people in Donbas since 2014.
Do you support it?
Valentina has spoiled my ears with years of Bosendorfer. Now this Yamaha sounds like a plastic Fisher-Price toy piano...
Of course Yuja Wang is better; no way.
La mascherina !!! Inutile e ridicola !!!
