Thank you so much for playing my game! I'm glad you enjoyed it. You're definitely not alone in struggling that much at the start of Act 1- it's a complicated game and takes most people a similarly long time for it to click. Often it requires taking a break and returning with a fresh set of eyes. I've made a few changes to that section to try and ease out the difficulty curve and I'll probably have to again in the future. (Also, there is a way to change how fast the inputs come in which would have solved your timing problem. The tutorial is easy to miss on the last page of the Particles section. That's my bad.)
28:05 - "What if we form the shape sooner?" YES! 28:08 - "So we can send green on a wild goose chase." *flips table* Jk, love the content man. This is a really creative puzzle idea. Really makes you think in a different way.
The last 6 minutes or so are why I entjoy the channel. Granted, I love when it happens faster, but this specific debugging proccess is incredibly satisfying to watch.
I'm too lazy to count the exact number of belts, but I believe he could've changed that version a bit and remove around 10 pointless belts. So he for sure almost had it there, but he had yet to figure out that it's the light that keeps em separate. He then tried a different approach, which took us on a wild rollercoaster ride!! Ngl, it'd be one weird video, if he just silently stared at his creation and thought for a few minutes. All in all I enjoyed the video, introducing a chill puzzle game to any who do like this style of puzzle games.
Hands down the best possible video to make people play the game. Like one of those frustrating mobile game ads where the guy just does nothing right and has you screaming at your screen and thinking "I would do it SO MUCH better!!!"😂😂😂
I jest wanna write this. I think Spacechem are most similar to this one, then Opus Magnum and then, for the good measure, rest of them. All games from Zachtronics are masterpieces
Watching him struggle so much when I saw the solution forced me to buy the game. Then I see they changed what the first level was and ended up spending just as long struggling. The second level is the same as the one in the video, but by the time I reached it I had mostly forgotten my solution. Classy move devs.
I highly recommend you to play Fractal Block World. I've just seen a UA-cam video about it and the first 2 minutes made me buy the game. And I already spent way too much time on it...
This game looks cool, but it's very difficult for me to tell the different colored inputs and outputs apart. Some accessibility settings for color blindness would be very appreciated.
i'm so sorry olexa, that last puzzle looked easy to me then again i've played some Factorio and Shapez and Sokobond so i might just be starting from a higher dimensional playing field you'll get it eventually!
Currently watching this during school lunch time with the whole table! And I don’t regret it one bit. Please keep up the good work olexa
Slay
You are unbelievably lucky to have a school life like that 👍

This looks like a simplified version of the game SpaceChem.
Watching after too many hours of Opus Magnum, and its hard too see you struggle with this in the best way.
10:56 Did he solve that light puzzle then get confused and have to do it over again

Yup, he stuck a belt over the output then deleted everything
I have the feeling that we won't have a series on this game! 😂 i loved it tho!
This made me realize you have a baba is you playlist, I'm set
It’s not as long as I’d like, but it does exist

Olenky and puzzle games name a more iconic duo
Olenky and Roguelikes

Mario and Lugigi
Me and Joe
um wow that's all i can remember (/o_o)/ =|
11:17 shame this worked you just had 1 too many conveyor belt.
This video is so painful, its so much worse than other videos
@robinberger208 not really and even if it was they are so good at so many things that it really doesn't matter if they have a couple bad ones.
You should try SpaceChem or any other Zachtronics game.
I def should
An Opus Magnum series would go unimaginably hard
I jest wanna write this. I think Spacechem are most similar to this one, then Opus Magnum and
then, for the good measure, rest of them. All games from Zachtronics are masterpieces
@@jackeea_ Opus Magnum is one of the most friendly games in this genre.
@@OlexaYT Opus Magnum and Exapunks are the best IMO!
Goop is my favorite word, I think that's worth commenting
"we form sets of two."
FINALLY...FINALLY! 😂
If you enjoy these games tyler you should 100% sheck out Opus Magnum, i saw some other comments saying it but its like this game except on steroids
Omg i didnt know how much i need this video, please make a series of this :DD
It looks like an easy version of SpaceChem :)
Thank you for a good mood :D
I mean... it's level 1.
@@charltonrodda I know 🙃
I’m sure you felt so relieved to have figured that out
It's a mysterium how olexas brain works
I was following so hard and then you got to the white ones and my brain said "That's enough puzzle thanks"
Incredible. Please play another level of this. :)
Reminds me of a similar game which is basically this, but arcane - Opus Magnum. This video made me go back to my old file again :D

You should do a video on fancy pants adventure 2.
this reminds me of an old game called SpaceChem, never finished it, super difficult
Flip it over the beam of light then rotate and combine
I was wondering if that would work
7:22 nah its doin all 4
This reminds me of "Opus Magnum". Great game!
designed like to a Zacktronics game
this hurts my brain
Man this game really went from like 1-100 in 1 level when they added rotate
As someone who has experience with these games, I wanted rotations earlier.
New "Olexa Madess Hell"?? Sign me in!
The mad man actually did it
Gave me strong Opus Magnum vibes
what a lovely thing to wake up to! today will be good methinks
Watching this just makes me want to see you play Opus Magnum
Stay tuned
I highly recommend you to play Fractal Block World.
I've just seen a UA-cam video about it and the first 2 minutes made me buy the game.
And I already spent way too much time on it...
Worth the wait xD
more please, i am still laughing ^^
this ruled thank u
This game looks cool, but it's very difficult for me to tell the different colored inputs and outputs apart. Some accessibility settings for color blindness would be very appreciated.
The game does have that setting.
That is frustrating!
i'm so sorry olexa, that last puzzle looked easy to me
then again i've played some Factorio and Shapez and Sokobond so i might just be starting from a higher dimensional playing field
you'll get it eventually!
PlantChem.
episode 2?:3
Goop
I AM SO MAD
Dude so easy seriously all you have to do is
Please don't be 'the guy in the advert' (comment before watching
6 mins in and i'm lost :D
I'm early today
