Enjoyed seeing your picks 😊 Naturium also has an excellent serum for hyperpigmentation called the Multi-Bright Tranexamic Acid 5% and if anyone wants a cheaper dupe for the Dr. SAM product, try Naturium's Azelaic Acid Emulsion 10%. In terms of more heavy hitters, I'm loving La Roche-Posay's Glycolic B5 and PCA Skin's Pigment Gel Pro. Medik 8 also recently released a targeted peptide serum for brightening called Oxy-R and I've seen great results using that too. You really do have to attack pigmentation from multiple angles to see results. ❤

I’m a long-time user of PCA Pigment Gel Pro after a recommendation from Dr. Dre

Sunscreen and the reduction of alcohol are the best preventative measures but I am able to tackle most things with retinol. I don’t have a lot to deal with. I am just old. I do appreciate how skin sensitivity can make things harder. Thank you for sharing your experience. You must have a hard time trying new products when it’s hard to keep things in balance.

Yes to everything you mentioned. It can be tricky with sensitive skin to test new things, so I always try to incorporate things slowly and not add in too many new things at one time. That's why I feel empties reviews are so important too - you can really see the effects of a product over the entire lifespan of a product.

@@Bekah_Sun it also helps that you are recording regularly. You have a visual record of the results over time.

I know you mostly talked about PIH but do you think the mother science serum also helps with sun damage? And how much would you attribute changes to skincare vs the in office treatments you’ve talked about in other videos? Have been so curious about this product since ppl online seem to have amazing results. Thanks so much!

This is such a good question! Mother Science definitely helps with sun damage and they specifically mention that in their claims.
I haven't had an in-office skin treatment in several months, so these are all very recent changes I've seen in the last month or two. Treatments do help, but the hyperpigmentation I'm mentioning here is a result of recent breakouts.

Thanks for your video. All the products you mentioned, is that good for melasma and dark spots? I don’t have acne prone skin.

That's a great question - yes! Mother Science specifically targets dark spots and sun spots. The azelaic acid in the Dr. Sam's Brightly serum is helpful for melasma. Melasma can really vary person to person though, and I'm not a dermatologist - this is just what I've read in the research!

OMG, I've just started using Dr sam's system.. what do you think of their Nightly serum and the Nightly eye serum?

I love Nightly too! Love how well-rounded all of the INCI lists are. I haven't tried the eye serum but I'm definitely curious!
