I collect Transformers. Normally I scoff at the prices of Haslab except this one. My husband and I 3D print and I can say that there is lot of value in this. Its very timely to print then add in materials and painting. . . We do it mainly for ourselves. I have lot of 3D stuff printed for my Transformers and it takes play. . . um, posing to the next level. The most fave part we have printed is the bar/grill I have for my TFs. I have made my own energon drinks and food. I can't say what it is that makes this one so interactive.

Good call on cost if going 3rd party. Plus you wouldn't get figures and the awesome tvc box which is awesome for display

Yes that haslab Cantina is a must backed it since it dropped deluxe set plus its worth it i looked into 3-D printed Cantina's the printers talking about thousands of dollars so i jumped aboard haslab I'm just saying don't miss out you'll never get something beautiful like this for TVC collection, secondary market is going too be a beast on the price if it's funded

Here in Australia, the base version cantina is one weeks fulltime salary. I've been collecting vintage since I was 7 years old. I'm 49 now. My disposable income will pay for my base model. But anyone who claims that much plastic is worth that amount of money. Not in my opinion. But as collectors, we justify it anyway we choose to. $750 aud base. $1000 aud deluxe 😮

@@carloscunningham319 Oh yeah, it's getting crazy. The u.s dollar adjusted to Australian dollar makes your $400 usd cantina around $650 Australian dollars for the cantina. But we don't have Hasbro pulse in Australia ( Asian countries do ) so we have to buy our haslabs from EB games ( our gamestop) a secondary seller who pimps another 300 aussie dollars plus tax. $ 1000 bucks deluxe cantina. Our vintage figures now sell at $25 to $35 aussie dollars. Black series are now $50 to $60 bucks. Mc farlane $ 55 aussie dollars. When I was collecting as a kid and teenager we paid comparable prices to u.s . I have a aunty in the states that sent me figs with price tags still on. What do your vintage cost in u.s dollars. I think there close to aussie prices after adjusted from u.s dollars. I'm more of a figure collector that's why I want those carded figs in cantina.i have principles and it's getting harder to justify these days.

That’s exactly my point. It’s incredibly expensive to put something like this together. The Hasbro price point doesn’t seem that outrageous.

If I collected Star Wars, I would get this. I scoff at Haslab stuff but not this one. My husband and I 3D print and this is worth or extremely close to it. Time to 3D, materials and time to paint. Its a lot. Also I really enjoy my 3D printed bases. It really adds layer of fun that can not be described.

Fair points. My only thing is this:
Dios are fine, fantastic, but a true playset feels a little more valuable to me. Point being Eternia from the recent MotU/MattelCreations initiative. You have a complete world in this playset and if need be, you can still split it up or play with it, set it up as a dio., etc.
I was juiced about this HasLab, but w/o the full shebang, I'm starting to get cold feet. The walls (w/ no outside walls, which keeps bugging me personally) just don't feel worth it. I really, really want it to, but I'm waffling bad. I have the money. I'm an old school collector and so on.
One last point: why release this back-to-back w/ Jabba's throne room? I think a couple yrs between them would've been much better.

The only thing that I can assume is that Hasbro does not see Australia as a legitimate market to promote and sell their products. I am sure they have data and numbers that prove that. I could be way off but I am simply brainstorming.

@@Jasonzxzx Trust me there's a market. I literally bought 80% of vintage figures and vehicles in the 80's and 2000's. They sold them en masses here. Like you said though, who knows how much sold. Maybe it's changed now. Would be good to know.
