I have this deck in a different version of colors, but I want to tell you something about the ribbon, it represents the energy that binds the universe together. I'm reading MounI Shadout's Major Arcanes, which is a book from Rosa Cruces tradition. Observe the ribbon in ten of swords, they aren't tied as in the eight. Observe the ribbon in the queen of swords, turning into a snake, the same who threatens the Astrosoma (astral body) of the sages who masters the art of gnose... Moving a little for the two of coins, observe the point of the bottle, suggesting the fragile balance... The same point in the shield of the 6. THE querubins in the five and the 7(flying money perhaps?) Well that is so far as I could come with this deck.

I agree this is a very special deck, it has a unique approach and I love the antique look and the Renaissance and mythological references. !🤗Muchas gracias!
It came - yay! Great to see a side-by-side with the mass market. I agree that the muted colouration is very lovely but completely overshadowed by the garish green border - why?! It really does need to be read visually, which I love and great EE practice 😉 Listening to your impressions of the deck got me thinking about two things...1. I'd like to compare the pips to the Medieval Scapini and 2. That King of Pentacles. I've pondered his worried look and too thought he was minting coin. Listening to other details you picked up on with other cards I wonder if the artist is making a declaration of the 'evil' of money over art or even prophecizing (is that a word lol!) the downfall of man through greed. The Vacchetta is such a gorgeous pip deck. Definitely one on my list. Loved the comparison. You can definitely see a difference with il Meneghello vs Lo Scarabeo.
Loved it! I was just sitting yesterday and going through my Renacentista Vacchetta and the Master side by side like this :) I call these decks the 'Old Italian style decks' as indeed, the Marseilles is a totally different thing.. :)

Great video, Lisa. I’ve got both. I bought the TotM first and then a few months later the IM Vacchetta. But...I trimmed the LoS edition and edged it in Antique Linen and I have to say, I prefer it 🤫 though nothing compares to the quality of the IM edition.

Mindful Tarot No, I’ve not made a video. I’m being thwarted in that realm as I cannot upload more than 15 mins at a time. It has taken the wind out of my recording sails. Not that I always need more than 15 but being circumscribed for every video has constricted my flow. Anywaaayyy, will see what I can do re showing the trimmed TotM. Oh, and good work on your Spanish version order 👌🏽😆😉
Dance of the Soul Tarot Drag about the 15 minute limit! When did that happen to you? You’ve had longer videos before now, haven’t you? I have the same restriction on my iPad (for reasons that I totally don’t understand - is this an iOS thing?), so I always have to transfer longer videos filmed on it - up on to my laptop. I seem to remember going through a verification process to get approved for UA-cam to accept my longer videos...
Might be an IOS thing as I upload from my phone though I'm unable to upload from my laptop at all even though I'm verified to film longer vids. UA-cam removed the splicing component of their editing. Before that I'd upload videos and splice them together to make one long one. Anywhoo, enough of my bemoaning tech issues. Back to cards, video required when you get the Spanish version :) Oh, and btw I think you'd love the Tarot de Aux Arcs.

I trimmed those ugly green borders off the tarot of the master, it makes a huge difference, it's great to see them both side by side, thank you

I love my trimmed LOS too! much better without those green borders. Interesting that the colouring varies so much! x
