has anyone wondered how Sam Smith sings in slow motion but is perfectly synced with the audio
Hemanth Kakarla they record the video at a much higher audio speed. So when they filmed Sam he was probably singing at 2x or 3x the normal song speed (same with the dancers). And then when they edit or with shutter speed (maybe?) they are able to slow down the frames to match the original audio. And you get the slowed down but on beat effect.
I may be wrong, but that was like a rudimentary breakdown.
They recorded the video with an audio faster than the original song. Sam sang it in the video faster. Watch the behind the scenes of the MV of Touch My Body by Mariah Carey and you'll get it more.
