Thank you for commenting back to everyone who comments. It’s great to have a community of fans. My Yeti, was watching, his head was tilting side to side. He always likes watching other doggies and seeing what they do. When Frankie squeaked his toy, Yeti came running, to check out what Frankie had.
Frankie’s eyes are gorgeous. So expressive. Joey and Frankie, your videos are so great. Do you bullet point your script ideas, or just say whatever is on your minds? I still need my ideas written.
I just found your channel, and I'm so happy! It's so nice to find another positive reinforcement trainer, someone who understands dog body language and needs, and someone who feeds great foods! Please tell me how you got Frankie so well trained, especially for the recall and attention! I have a husky mix who is not toy motivated, somewhat food motivated, and is not nearly as motivated by praise or working for me. He's a great dog, but he's not the easiest to train.
Try working with straight communication (more straight bodylanguage and less vocal commandos, this is the way dogs communicate with eachother. ) and strengthen the raltionship between you and your dog. Make your walks/trainingsessions interesting and variated for your dog. The key is to make your dog think you are the most fun and interesting person/thing in the whole world. This thing will make your dog pay more attention to you because they know that they always get an advantage when coming to you/giving you their attention. Never underestimate the power of eye-contact, when you have this with your dog everything becomes so much easier. For recall-training you should always start with setting goals that is easy for the dog to acheive. This will strenghten the dogs self esteem and make it funnier for your dog. Start with trainig in a long leash if you are unsure, when the dog pays attention to you, looks at you, call them in and when the dog comes to you, praise them. Then let the dog continue it's fun. For a dog that always gets caught in and put on a leash EVERY time you call them in, will pretty soon stop coming to you when they realise everything else is funnier. An off-leash dog will always "Choose" to come to you, and if your dog has for example just started chasing squirrels in the woods and you call for him and he decide to come to you, you better play with him and give him alot of praise. This way the dog still find it more fun to stop the squirrelhunt and come back to you. Always give the dog an advantage for doing the right thing. This will help you get a dog that always chooses you over anything else. This is things that have helped me a lot when training communication and recall with my dogs. Hope this will help somebody😊

Absolutely no idea how big your dog is ahah but just keep in mind when shopping that it needs to fit your full size aussie. You can always make a big crate small
I love watching your channel. But just saw Frankie eats kibble. Can I introduce the idea of fresh food to you? Kibble is cooked 6 times. Step 1. Meat is added into a vat to render it down to a powder. Then, heat is applied at a temperature of 220 degrees up to 390 degrees. Step 2. This powder is then sent to the hammer mill. This is the first time the plant starts to cook the material. Next, the ingredients are cooked together. Heat is involved in this process. Step 3. All of the ingredients are preconditioned - hot water and pressurized steam are used to cook the ingredients into a gloopy doughy material. Step 4. This dough is pushed through an extruder. The walls of the tubes are heated to high temperatures, and high pressure as the dough passes through. It is squeezed out the other end and cut into shapes. As the dough hits the air and the pressure is released, it puffs up. The kibble is hot and soft at this point. Step 5. All of the kibble is baked in an oven to dry. Step 6. A second round of enrobing. Heat is applied … and the hot kibble is dried and sprayed with synthetic vitamins, minerals, and flavor enhancers. The flavor enhancers are typically rendered liquid fats or powders. Any protein cooked over 220 degrees is burnt to a crisp - think of Elon Musk and his flame thrower on a piece of steak. They add starches to make a biscuit (kibble) because even though biologically dogs don't need carbs then "can" survive on it. (oh I did a juice cleanse for 7 days I survived on it but it's no way to live). Anyway - if there is ONE book to read - its Feeding dogs by Dr. Conor Brady. You'll learn all about fresh food. Raw or home cooked (I've done both and finally on raw full time) is NOT hard there are companies with base mixes to help you. Ok sorry for the long comment. I just see kibble as dry dead food and now I know you want Frankie to eat better if you knew about fresh food.
Really appreciate the comment. We tried Raw food, Frankie was sick for a long time. He enjoys the kibble we are on. Maybe in the future we will try raw again.

Until you live with an Aussie, you will never know what is truly in store. And I am being honest, I grew up hearing the same thing but any dog can be trained to live a certain lifestyle
I think that it depends on the dog’s personality, as well as the owner and their lifestyle. Mine is go, go, go from the moment she wakes up. She’ll knock out for half hour intervals and then go, go, go again. But we go on long walks and take twenty minute spans of playing fetch outside and running with her herding ball. She has a brother though who is the complete opposite. He’s a lover and just loves laying in a chair and sleeping when we go and visit him. But I do recommend them mostly for people who have a lifestyle that enables them to be out frequently or at least outside for long periods of time.
Becareful with those cow hoves, I use to give those to my dogs all the time...untill those hooves cracked my two Aussies molars...cost me 1000, to remove 2 molars on one dog and 1 molar on the other...I would not give your dogs those at all.
