I'm just going to give it a 5.5 star rating and just let the match speak for itself. Give these 2 a great storyline and a title to fight for, they would main event any big show.
Thanks a lot for doing this, such a great work 2 of the very best! doing these dream matches the way you do is so unique and so great I love the idea, the booking, the editing please keepo going and thanks a lot :)!
Match rating: 5 stars I am not going to discuss the match itself, as of course the match is magnificent. Lots of hard-hitting, awe-inspiring action for 5 minutes. There isn’t even much I would say you could add as far as moveset. The match itself could be argued as being 5 stars in itself. What I will discuss is the brilliance of this match and the ending. -Kota Ibushi’s finisher is the kamigoye. “Kamigoye” means surpassing god. Seth Rollins calls himself the messiah. So the connection between the two is evident and makes the story more engaging. -The ending is fantastic. After Rollins uses his best shot (the curbstomp) and only gets a nearfall. Any hope Rollins had is gone. He is delaying his own inevitable conclusion. Still he tries the Phoenix splash, a move he only uses in his most important matches, and in his most desperate moments. Ibushi does a bicycle knee with the exposed knee and takes advantage of the desperation and mistake of Rollins as he does a move similar to that of Omega. He finally puts away Rollins after he has nothing left. -The character work was great. You portrayed the difference between Ibushi’s hero/fighting spirit and Seth Rollins’ cunning, desperate, and aggressive villainous character. The various leverage pins used by Rollins can be indicative of how he wants to take the easy way out, as well as feeling desperation that he can’t beat Ibushi. His cocky attitude with his mocking kicks and stomps add fuel to Ibushi’s fire as it motivates him to beat the so-called god. -One thing that I noticed was the attention to detail on Rollins. His attire could not be better. It personifies the rising sun of NJPW puroresu. I will say that while the curbstomp by Seth aided in the story of the match, I still feel having no finisher kickouts would be equally as good (not necessarily a con). Another minor thing is that I wouldn’t have had both of them try Phoenix splashes as it slightly saturates the move. But when Rollins did it, I felt it had relevance and justification to his story, so I can forgive that. It can also be shown as Rollins wanting to steal a move from Ibushi as Rollins is a very cerebral character who gets under the skin of people (especially good guys). Since Ibushi’s Phoenix splash is always a guaranteed win, it might be logical to consider why Rollins would attempt it, not just for himself, but in the context of Kota Ibushi. I suppose one thing that could’ve potentially been added is a reference to Kenny Omega by Rollins. Rollins is really cerebral and plays many mind games. A v-trigger or OWA tease could’ve sent Ibushi into a rage. This is one of the best matches you have done, and might be the best 2k22 match you’ve done. This goes into your top 5 of 2k. You have crafted another masterpiece.
Match Ratings : 5.25 Stars I mean, Seth Rollins vs Kota Ibushi is destined to be a classic match and obviously this proved evident. Kota has a striking advantage against Seth with his lightning kicks, so Seth has to resort to other tactics and get more tactical. There was some really entertaining edits such as the top rope moonsault, the cartwheel pele kick, e.t.c. I also loved Seth’s awareness to the Kamigoye, and his relentless effort to avoid it at any means. Absolutely brilliant start to end, can’t wait to see your next highlight!
Goddamn man this is a 5.25 stars match Two talented wrestlers I thought about Ibushi vs Rollins but no one seems to do it Finally you are here BTW do you think there is any dream opponents for Seth Rollins in WWE ?
