The home above you on Water Street, right next to Bayview Park, on the side of Bayview Park clisest to Gordan Street. Is the Willocks House, the first home constructed in Perth Amboy. He was one of the Scottish Settlers.
I've seen a lot of RE agent videos. You're doing a very good job sir - much appreciated. Curious if you might know what people are willing to pay in rent to share one of those town homes with the double depth garages (inside the courtyards)?
Thanks for the comment @danielnaas7505! I have a friend who has been renting there for years, but not likely at market rate given the length of time that he has been renting there. But I can tell you that the Perth Amboy rental market is very solid. A 3 bedroom unit in that development would generally be in the 2500-3000 range depending on the condition.
A two bedroom apartment goes for anywhere from $1,800 to $3,000 a month rent. Depends on the area. You want to be careful of the area you move to there. Even next to the waterfront and the high dollar homes there are not so nice neighborhoods. Most everyone is great there though, and for it being a small city it has a small town feel. Lots of stores are within walking distance, and the waterfront is beautiful. I lived there for 15 years before moving across the bridge to the South Amboy/Sayreville area. I love living here.
@@newjerseylivinggroup I only lived in NJ from April 1971 to February 1973. Somerset was a nice town that I liked. I wish I would rode my bike more to see the place. It had to one interesting street patterns. And I had to ride a bus to Junior High. That was Sampson Smith on Amwell Road.
I grew up in the 60s-70s living in South Amboy, but spent a lot of time in Perth Amboy where my wife is from. I miss those two towns.
Thanks for sharing those memories @WyMustIGo!

@@newjerseylivinggroup I'm actually curious what I could expect to charge a roommate if I owned a 2 bdrm and shared it 😁
