Hi Mark, I’m just seeing this video five years later. I did my top flight kit built P 47 and my Ziroli P47 the same way. I am working a Ziroli Corsair. The panel lines will go on same as your zero however, instead of burning the rivets, I’m gonna try 1/16 vinyl dots. I didn’t like the inconsistency of the burned in rivets. Plus, you can go to deep very easily and cut into the glass cloth. Hello from the USA.
Hi Mark your warbird looks amazing, a lot of hrs for the fine details, I'm in lock down in Scotland, and dug out the Spitfire I received as a prezzie 5 years ago, at the painting stage, been following your videos on panels and rivets, at the end you show your airplane and say you've given it a dirty wash which makes it look as if it's had a few battles in ww2, could you explain how you did it, or make short video, keep up good work stay safe
Hi Peter yes the dirty wash was achieved using ordinary black enamel paint starting with cloth damp with mineral turpentine and putting small amount of paint onto the rag and wiping over the model in the direction of the airflow if you get too much paint on you can take a clean rag with a little bit of Terps and wipe over to reduce the amount on the surface
Hi Mark! Congratulations for this wonderful project. Im very interested to build this plane. Can you share with me the plans and cut plan for start this project! Thanks a lot!!
Hi the plans I have are full size paper plans not a PDF as I can’t send. if you go to Nick ziroli zero plans you can get them along with all the canopy Cowell ect good luck with your build

Beautiful plain mark I have looked for those rivets you used by Chad Beach and I cannot find them do you have a website for him or a way to get these vinyl stick-on rivets? Much appreciated if you could point me in the right direction.

Hello from the USA.
Now THAT is a hella lot of work. I think I'd be cross eyed by the time I got to the end of it.
Very nice. Thanks for sharing. I heard of that method but it is so much better to see it in action.
Absolutely stellar!

At time 7:58 where can the airplane stand be bought ?

Hi Mark, what type of wash did you use and how did you preserve it?
Hi Roy the wash I used a small amount of black enamel paint on a rag with turps and wiped over if it’s to much add more turps and maybe new rag.
