Aah, It is so refreshing, in the age of ARFs to watch a scratch build coming together. Excellent job Mark! I feel inspired to finish a kit build that sits needing paint for 5 years.
Now that is building. I watched a few other "builds" where plane arrived in big box and everything snapped in place. Painted foam and decals. Biggest work getting it out of the box. Nice to see how a model is really built.
I'm really impressed and enjoy watching your video assembling the zero from zero. What amazing techniques you have! Thank you for sharing such a nice video. ありがとう (A-ri-ga-to-u. / Thank you.)
That is such a sweet plane. Nice work. Thanks for sharing. Liked and subbed. I have Royal 60 F4U plans but don't know how to make the canopy and cowl if I had to. Would have to purchase in order to be able to build it.
anybody can build this type stuff you just have to have confidence, ask questions from other builders and make sure you can afford it, flying it is a whole different monster
hello, congratulations for the built model. I'm building the same model as Ziroli, I wanted to hope if you have some photos to send by email of the construction of the wings, I have doubts about the flaps and the ailerons.
Marc, I see you were using the Deluxe Eze-Kote to apply the fiberglass on the fuse. Did the wood on the model swell or warp any when applying that product? The Eze-Kote is water based and some people have commented that this did happen to them. I have been using it with success but haven't used it yet on fully sheeted models with large areas of balsa.
Hi I won’t use it again. It’s easier than resin but I had a problem with bubbling and after sand it sanded through the glass mesh. I would recommend using fibreglass resin
If the model is climbing at full power it maybe because the incidents is out between the wing and the tailplane A common problem when scratch building mine is out and I have had to add down elevator as well. You may rejoice it by packing the top engine Mount to increase the down thrust on the engine
Hi just trim the model in flight till it flys straight and level when you take hands off the sticks land the model and then you can adjust the elevator so the trim is back to centre if you run out of trim adjust and go again this way you will get it right
@@markbrownrc1679 Thanks for replying, im building a seagull zero master kit edition, my 3rd build, can i ask where you got your spinner from , as most i see are pointy, not correct like yours is ?
I notice you have a p40 in the background but it's not just any p40 I've only seen one p40 with a man whizzing on the rising sun and that would be my dad's p40 so might i ask do you build the p40 or buy it off someone

Same! Do it! I’m trying to finish Giant P47 that’s been on the bench three years!

Nice to see how a model is really built.
Very nice build and flight! One of the more scale sounding engines I've ever heard too. Thanks for sharing all this.
Great job, really like the glassing technique and the scale take off! Well done!

Build is outstanding fine but flight..... absolutely nice take off and landing. Congrats to the pilot.
I have made a few such as yours, but, like yours, there is so much interior detail, I hate to hide it. Just my personal view. Your work is exemplary.
Ziloli RC キットを正確に組み上げる技量が素晴らしいです。別の人が指摘されていましたが尾翼から写した映像が新鮮な驚きでした。
Such a magnificent creation.

Make a plug out of balsa,. And vacuum form canopy. Same thing with cowling, but fibreglass it
Flies as great as it looks!
Really good!
I might build this and I do have plans for this
amazing skill i wish i could do that! well done

HA! Yes, flying is a monster. Well put.
A monster to fly ? If you can fly you can fly anything .
Oh my god that electric start is awesome

Simone Sottocarai Hi Simone sorry but all the photos are in the video. Good luck with your build and Many good landings stay safe
Twin sounds nice.
Beautiful plane. I am building one with 3w 75.
What is the weight of your plane ?
Very powerful engine.
Mine has a EME 70 and The take off weight is 15.6kg.

Very very nice!! Congratulations!! Can you let me the plans for laser cut? Please 🙏🏼.
Plans and laser cut available from Nick Ziroli plans
Mark Brown rc thanks
I got my one off a local guy who got in from Ziroli and never built it
Do you have to put 1/4 inch down elevator to have good flight without climbing at full power ?

Very nice!
First start up? With engine mounted and cowl installed?
The engine was bench run before fitting to the plane. That was the first start up with the model finished
@@markbrownrc1679 That's what I assumed, but I could only go by your first start up comment which left me a little puzzled. No big deal.
Hi, I saw to fly straight, it needs to put 3/8 elevator down, is it right ?
Hi just trim the model in flight till it flys straight and level when you take hands off the sticks land the model and then you can adjust the elevator so the trim is back to centre if you run out of trim adjust and go again this way you will get it right
What the engine you used?
Huy Phan it’s an EME 70cc twin
Was that ezykote on the glass .?
yes but won’t use again you get a better Result with reason

@@gregaussie5254 The spinner is a Topflite zero one not sure if it’s available now.

Cliff Brooks Hi my p40 is a ESM arf kit it may be the same as your dads one
rc_pilots_nz MB it came with the tail art like that?
What is your wingspan? 110" ? Im building the platt 1/5 zero
saleenstang it's the ziroli plan and it's 91in
How can you have the blue print ? I want it🥺🥺
Google blueprint zero and you will find one
THIS ENGING LOOKS LIKE EME70CC (CORECT ME IF I'M WRONG)
2:30-2:50 technology.
can you help do this
If you ever want to sell it i have my hand up !!!!!!!
I have said it many times why you would spend the time and money building a scale model and then fit a bloody two stroke engine it is beyond me.
So what engine would you suggest ?
