It definitely would have worked better if i had piercing at the start but whatever lol. (the whole tau into divide by trigger spell into modifiers at the end of the wand is a setup to basically use divide by on modifiers and multiplying them) critting chainsaws do lots of damage! if i had a phi on there instead of a chainsaw after M i could do a 34 orb with w/e perks i had probably. noita is cool :) --- edit - satinn has gone into more detail in the replies! !!! -- i am combining comments to pin this !! As someone who played Noita for a bit when it came out but never got that into it, thank you so much for the step by step explanation for this video, it was genuinely very helpful for following along with the visual lightshow that was gameplay.

To say it must be sarcasm is ignorant if you yourself have not also experienced the game at all. It is a pretty complicated game so having zero background knowledge wont quite do it.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I think you’re one of the most inventive, fun and dedicated creators on the platforms that I watch. There always seems to be a tremendous amount of effort and enthusiasm in the content you put out.
Be afraid of what you have behind you. In Noita that's what's going to kill you. Or you know, any random explosion, bullet, bite, poison, lighting, fire, acid, poly.... 😅

I've always been able to sort of understand the wands, but never to a fully satisfying degree, but the wand-science Ross helped alot! I'm sure editing this was crazy hard, but adding all of those tutorial moments really helped alot! Please keep uploading Noita videos!
niceee! The way wand got powered up in alot of times when you swapped some things(at end) is so funny. As a noita player who also did 33 orbs playthrough(34 orbs aswell) i find this very funny
When I was doing my first 33 orb run the wand I made to kill kolmi was so busted it kept crashing my game too, I ended up having to look up a wand that my computer could handle (I didn't know about the busted-ness of poison either) glad to see it's such a mutual experience
if it would feel genuinely fun to you, a video visualizing how wands work (especially how multicasting multicasts works) would be awesome! along with a visualizer of how to avoid crumbling the shop area with tp because i always mess it up qwq
Two months ago this video made me want to get into Noita, so I bought it and have been playing it on and off since. Today, as of maybe an hour ago. I too achieved my one trillion hp boss kill. It was a ridiculous and very silly 12 hour long run and I enjoyed every moment of it. Thank you for introducing me to this game! Now to watch this video all over again because I'm sure my newfound game knowledge will make it even more enjoyable!
It doesnt look like it in the video, but the game is actually pretty well optimized. Also, the game looks way more fun when you play it than when i do lol, i suck. It's like an entirely different game too when you know what's there to do.. outside the main goal of getting down to the boss asap, underpowered and then dying xD

I wish I didn't suck at the game so I could have runs past the the 3rd stage, or surviving more than 12 seconds in hisi base That way, I too, could get depressed after several hour runs

HOLY SHIT Noita is just Math, but really REALLY FAST to be fair, everything is by some degree, but slowing it down to a minor framerate and making dozens of iterations of wands and calculations of spell modifiers
Wish I had gotten more into this game. Got it a couple years back and it absolutely kicked my butt. Realized it was one of THOSE games where I either needed to put hours and hours into it to get good at the game or I need to move on. I should go back though.

this is like my 6th time watching this video and this is by far my single favourite noita video of all time really love the informational aspect of it especially since i keep forgetting how half the shit in this game works lol
Little tip for you actually. As far as I am aware if you are trapped inside even the densest of rock, you should be able to make a breathable pocket by rapidly moving back and forth. As far as what I remember when doing so the game does this so you don’t jank yourself into suffocation while going up a ramp or teleporting.
@@RedRiotRoss Well I didn’t get much of a view of your loadout but a lot of stuff could slowly dig away at the rock. Stuff in the temple I am not 100% sure what can or cannot dig through but it at least gives a potential chance for survival.

Not only does this video have great editing, entertaining commentary and a batshit noita run, but at 6:31 a "Blood Drain - Again" track plays, pushing it to a 11/10 video!
You can access NG+ with as little as 5 Orbs actually, and if you do NG+ collecting one more orb than before (Skipping certain numbered orb completions), you end up at NG+28 with Kolmi at health in the Quadrillions, or even in the Quintillions (I think? The number gets kinda senseless).
Ginger Danny Brown plays finnish Alchemy Simulator, defeats the forces of nature(TM) with math. The world has been restored, and everyone is much happier :D

Little tip for you actually. As far as I am aware if you are trapped inside even the densest of rock, you should be able to make a breathable pocket by rapidly moving back and forth. As far as what I remember when doing so the game does this so you don’t jank yourself into suffocation while going up a ramp or teleporting.

@@RedRiotRoss Well I didn’t get much of a view of your loadout but a lot of stuff could slowly dig away at the rock. Stuff in the temple I am not 100% sure what can or cannot dig through but it at least gives a potential chance for survival.

You can access NG+ with as little as 5 Orbs actually, and if you do NG+ collecting one more orb than before (Skipping certain numbered orb completions), you end up at NG+28 with Kolmi at health in the Quadrillions, or even in the Quintillions (I think? The number gets kinda senseless).
