English is my second language and growing up in 1995 I heard the penguin in the commercial say, "Doobie Doobie doo", while watching TV. To me at that time as a kid and not really understanding the language I understood the humor and just started dying..lol. I later found myself saying Doobie Doobie doo by myself every chance I got. I love this memory and the American culture that shaped my childhood as a little foreign kid . Thank you America
I'm born in '96 and my parents got me and my two siblings stuffed penguins when we were babies, and somehow this commercial stuck with my infant brain enough that I named my toy Duebie; come ~26 years and I'm watching the commercial fully aware for the first time and I can't believe my favorite child's toy that I still have, is named after a bud ice commercial 🙃
Omg i used to LOVE drinking bud ice as a lil kid! Fond memories hanging out beside the local gas station with friends, all of us chipping in and “hey mister-ing” for some Bud ice & cigarettes… good times growing up, great memories!

It's 3 am, I was gonna watch a Rebel Taxi video, and it starts off with this creepy penguin commercial. Penguins are my favorite animals, but even I quiver every time I hear "dooby dooby doo", like what do these mean "beware the penguins"? What does it have to do with chilling cold beer? Because they live in cold? I think it's the eyes on those penguin models, thanks for turning my favorite animals against me.
What's funny is that the last commercial involves the Stanley Cup which is a NHL trophy so now I know they're referring to the Pittsburgh Penguins which is an NHL team. Now I understood why they say "Beware The Penguins". Very clever! But then again, it's just a theory since it's made in missouri and it's by the Busch parent company, and it's a really shitty beer.
