    Works on a 96 Ssangyong Musso with the M104 engine as well.

    Thank you for these videos - they are very helpful! I'm working on this project on a 1995 E320, but I can't get the throttle body to break loose. I've removed the last 4 bolts, but the unit seems to be super-bonded to whatever is below it. All the screws were incredibly difficult to remove, so I don't think this procedure has ever been done on this car. Any suggestions to help remove this would be excellent. Thanks again!!!

    Help I have 1993 Mercedes 300TE wagon and looking for the location of ICV idle control valve. It supposed to be near the throttle body or intake manifold. I don’t see it anywhere and this engine here looks like mine. Does this engine have one?

      Depends on production date and engine series. You might or might not have ICV.

      @@vsandvs This is W124, M104 and seen videos of older and newer than 1993 and they have one. I got the trouble code #6 ICV which means I have one. If I don't have one how do this model deal with it

      @vsandvs  3 роки тому

      @@pricelessclips To deal with code 6 is to bring car to experienced Mercedes mechanic and diagnose the car properly. I do not understand why you say that code 6 tells you that you have ICV valve.

      @@vsandvs You definitly don't deserve a reply. I ask a question about a certain engine part only. I fixed american and asian cars mercedes is just a new project. If you don't know just say it. I have other sources who could answer than maybe not right now. If you are working on that M104 and can't tell me where the idle air control valve is then thanks anyway Mr. vsandvs

      I'm not here to write explanations or provide tech support. I got over dozen customers cars here to work on. ICV is found on m103, right in front of air inlet. M104 idle correction is built into throttle body thus no ICV. Code 6 calls for idle speed control so that needs to be diagnosed. ASR or non-ASR throttles are different. Symptoms are different. I rebuild these throttles. I dont know what videos you saw where m104 has ICV. Send me a link to video showing ICV on M104 engine
