CORRECTION: Lenita Schwalger competed as Miss Western Samoa in the Miss Universe 1981 Pageant, not Miss World. The same for Ivy Warner in 1982. Julianna Curry was Western Samoa's representative to Miss World in 1981 or 1982, I can't remember. Noanoa Hill was the last representative for Western Samoa at Miss World until 2013 Penina Paeu who competed as Miss Samoa since 'Western' was no longer used in the country's name. Most girls who competed in Miss Samoa World and Miss Samoa Universe pagents were afakasi, true. This was mainly because many full-Samoan girls were to shy or not allowed by their parents to participate because of the swimsuit category. The current Miss Samoa pageant does not have this category, and has a strong focus on Samoan culture, hence more full-Samoan girls participating.
Wow that is amazing. The girls were pretty much hotter in the past compare to the generation we have today. Please bring back those elegant sophisticated hot Samoan women into the scene.

todays selection of girls for this even are very unfortunate because the organisation who are involved in a search for real deal contestant are incompetent or unsuitable for what they believed is more eloquently and purposely .To be honest i have never seen any of today's beauty compare to of those at the past.
