Jeff, you have a way about your videos that encompass the challenges, the fun, and the adventure in a seemingly fun video! Thanks for always sharing your journey
Thank you for another great film, Jeff and Audrée! I always love seeing the race from both of your perspectives. And running on that cut toe - Audrée is a rock star!
I love running and watch films and documentary about running… but I am mad with you because after discovering yours it is impossibile to watch the other. Your Pov from inside, the sound of your steps, the emotional views and the tecnical explanation, the smile and the strenght of Audree (I also run with my wife), your wanderful soundtrack, the race result… immense!!
Nice route, especially the last section down into Naramata. We've hiked much of that trail (similar time of year, too) and it was surprisingly rough. You make it look easy! It looks like more of the burned trees have fallen or been cleared since we were there in 2009 so the views are a lot better. Fun to recognize some of the trail!
Hey @JeffPelletier,Im watchin your channel, nice work from you and Audrey.Come to Serbia,we have some really beautifull trails and ultras.God bless you and cheers from Serbia.Vladimir.🙂
Love watching your race videos while snacking on potato chips! While I watch your videos I am inspired to get off the couch, but once your videos end those crazy thoughts dissipate and all I’m left with is the feeling of enjoyment from watching your adventures!
Thank you for highlighting a BC race. I love having the two perspectives and it provided a great glimpse into the varied terrain. I'm seriously considering this one for 2024, just hoping we don't have an early May heat wave!!
Really great fun looking run @JeffPelletier. You both looked like you enjoyed it and a great little movie for my commute. Trying to get back after it after illness this help with motivation!!!!
with a couple more pickles, you couldve made top 10. Only in trail running can you tell a female co-worker, "you look well-tanned" and not get called into HR.
My understanding is that the fires were all further north around Kelowna, so the course was spared, although I could be wrong. There was though a fire along the first section of the course something like 15 years ago.
Hi Jeff, great video. Hoping to enter my first 50k in 2024 - your videos are very inspiring! Have you listened to the recent SWAP podcast (last week, I think) on exogenous ketones? Curious to know your opinion on whether they give any performance benefit if consumed before or during exercise.
Why is it you guys kept saying it was soo hot yet noone seemed to be drenched in sweat? Audree looked as fresh as a daisy, yet she was hot, you must be really climatized.
@JeffPelletier I'm from the most southern tip of Canada, Leamington, we 90% humidity here you walk across the street your soaked. Did Ironman years ago, they have ice stops along the coarse, to load up on for chilling you down, it's well received by the athletes.
Do they charge entrance fees in BC? I was shocked to learn that running a 100+ km race in Nova Scotia typically costs $300 mandatory "donation" 🤬 elitists.
Yes, of course. These races are a business and a full time job for the team who runs them. There are costs for permits, insurance, staff, and all of the supplies. I believe this one costs about $200 CAD.
@@JeffPelletier a business? What kind of business uses volunteer labour? I thought this was a community. As a low income runner I could never come up with an extra $200 or $300, most of us are having a hard enough time affording food. I guess that means I can't be part of this upper class running community. Honestly I don't need anyone to tell me when to run but I do feel very sad that I'll miss out on meeting all the other runners.
I hear you, racing is unfortunately an expensive part of our sport. It would be even more so without volunteers. There are actually a few races that are run as non-profits, like the Kneeknacker 50k here in Vancouver, but it still costs $175.

How you don't have 100k baffles me
Getting there!
Equally perplexed by the lack of followers on this channel! It’s always my top suggestion as a follow to new runners.
It’s all good, cause Jeff has the Loyal ones here 😂
All good things come to those whose wait..
Me and my GF Noth runners get excited when you put new content out.
Thanks jeff & Audreé

Love seeing these local races!

I really like the spirit of this race. Everyone telling each other good job, good work. Love it!
Beautiful place to run and a super organized run. Excellent placing for you and Audre
Great film Jeff and Audrée, really showcased how fantastic the running community is😃.
Man i miss running, been injured for a month now with still no idea when ill be back. Thanks for keeping me out on the trail.
Awesome video Jeff! I had a blast running some of the route with you 🤘
Such a buzz seeing good ol’ interior BC. You guys may have been roasting out there, but it sure does look gorgeous.

Great stuff, glad you both did so well, looks like a beautiful spot. Your films are simply the best, so much helpful content.

NZ is high on our list of places to visit in the near future :)
Loved it! The two perspectives of the same race is a very cool idea. 😎
Good stuff! beautiful course!!
Another great video, keep them coming!
Well done y'all! Course looked really beautiful and you captured it well.
Beautiful course!!
The music on this video was really well done
Thanks! Tried a different style for this one.
Looks like a fun course
You'd be an excellent torch bearer for the Olympic flame, you train so much with a GoPro.
Another great edit!
But did she feel ill that night? Way to end on a cliffhanger. 😂 Lovely work once again. ❤
Stay tuned to find out! 😂
Everything is so beautiful here
Great vid
🙏
well done guys! and video top!
Great video....If I was about 3 hours faster, I might have seen myself somewhere along the way. Subbed
How did bro in the dress shirt with the 2 tiny handheld flasks pass mandatory gear check? 🤪
I am new on your channel working my way backwards 😊

“..heat trained” which was related to her looking tanned, but you’re right 😂
Let’s get to 500 k
Been lots of forest fires there, almost all big trees down.
My understanding is that the fires were all further north around Kelowna, so the course was spared, although I could be wrong. There was though a fire along the first section of the course something like 15 years ago.

Thanks! Not yet, but I’ll give it a listen. I’ve been taking them before, during, and after exercise.

It’s a dryer heat here in BC, so unlike in humid environments, your sweat does tend to evaporate. But it still has a huge effect on perceived effort.
