    • @ElsutraEssentials
      @ElsutraEssentials  3 роки тому

      Hello dear, thank you for watching. I never tried milk in my recipe. If you want to try milk, do it in small quantity so if the result is not prefect you won’t have too much imperfect masa. What the yogurt does is, it makes it soft and fluffy, also the soreness help ferment the butter faster.

    • @ElsutraEssentials

    Lovely looking,welldone. How come you didn't use Onion?Any particular reason please?

    • @ElsutraEssentials
      @ElsutraEssentials  3 роки тому +3

      Onion is used to help the butter to risen. Backbone the guest usually get so much exposure to air. So the onion helps with that. I didn’t use it because some people doesn’t like it and I figured you can still have a perfect masa without it. Sometimes I do add it to the blend. Check my other masa recipe 🙏🏽

      If I should just oil it and keep for how long should I do so before I can use it to fry Masa?🙏🙏

    • @ElsutraEssentials
      @ElsutraEssentials  3 роки тому +1

      @@christianaade2434 well since it’s been very long and you didn’t wrap it right, I will recommend you wash it first. Then place it on your stove to heat it on low heat for some hours. Allow it to rest and do it again. May be 2-3 times. Then oil it. You can do the first batch of masa and see how it goes. Usually the first batch doesn’t comes out very nice then you can continue. Best of luck 🤞

    Billy what is the use of yogurt in the recipe?

    • @ElsutraEssentials
      @ElsutraEssentials  3 роки тому

      It helps soften the batter. If I don’t have yogurt I will not make masa. It makes so much difference. You does masa business right? Try adding yogurt pls 🙏🏽

    I enjoyed the work! I have been trying to search for a UA-cam vid that informs the ideas in this vid! 👍 🙌Your lesson is like the vids from this educational medical student Dr. Ethan! Dr Ethan's tips are helpful and I actually learned a lot for my school. He is the most knowledgable health enthusiast on UA-cam and he teaches conditions!
    You should watch his UA-cam out and give the doc a like here! 👉 #DoctorEthanStudentDoctor
