Thanks Chip, great to hear from you, pretty tough to beat an archery hunt. Well done on getting a deer, get it from the ground? Packing up backstraps as we speak.
Yes they are Vinny, I’m shooting a Killer instinct Fatal X, it shoots a 20 inch arrow with a 100 grain broadhead, and it’s shooting at 200 lb draw weight. With there arrow it shoots at 405 feet per second. For shooting at an animal 30 yards is as far as I like to shoot.
I love that crossbow. It’s compact, quiet and accurate. I like how small the axle to axle length is when it’s loaded. I don’t use the crank I just use a string to draw if back. You cannot draw it with your hands so you cannot loose the cocking device. I did have an incident with it where it dry fired because I diddent have the arrow against the string but it still let me take the safety off. Now I need new string and cams. Other than that, I would buy another one.
I was very impressed, I just videos a review that will be up soon but I was able to resharpen the blade back to a razor so I could use it again. Was also impressed with the created section even after going into the ground was still razor sharp.
Congrats Paul ! Nice big doe. Thanks for sharing buddy 👍🏻
I was lucky enough to get a big doe also. 2 Sundays ago.
