this part was sad but the movie actually had a happy ending
sakuta is so underrated..fr tho he a real one
Masterpiece movie, felt really depressed and cried at the accident scene and after it, definitely an emotional rollercoaster.
Honestly I cried when Mai-san died after the accident, this anime deserves 10/10.
I went in expecting a wholesome and slice of life story, ran out crying like a baby
I had to pause the movie after the funeral scene came in for Mai.
Glad that he can go to past. It would be fucked if Sakuta couldn't go to past.
This part was literally me crying and yelling "bring her back" for 10 minutes or so
I feel like this part explains a lot about his love for mai and his love for shouko. He's grateful to shoko bcuz she was there thru hard times in his past, but when it comes down to who he truly loves it's mai. Ppl were confused during the movie. However it's also cuz he has a kind heart. The difference in his relationship with the two is explicitly shown in this part and it's heart breaking.
Thank goodness this movie had a happy ending. I'm sure I would have to see a therapist otherwise. Well not that I'm not seeing one already.
The movie made me realize how much important was Mai to Sakuta. Yes he loved her a lot, they both helped each other a lot, they were cute and stuff like that. But when it came to importance it always felt like Shoko has been more important to Sakuta than Mai. This is well represented when after Kaede gets her memory back, Sakuta is helped by shoko once again and Mai feels bad for not being the one to help him during that time. Considering all of this it has even a bigger impact when she sacrifice herself for him. It's only when he cracks after her death that you realize how important she was to him. This applies toreal life too. People are important to you even when they do nothing "spectacular" for you, but even when they are just with, when they are willing to put you as one of the most important thing of their life even though they don't show it with big actions.

Everyone before watching this anime probably used to think it was, just a normal shitty small harem anime.
The one thing that made me cry the most is the part where Sakuta was literally Crying and Busted cuz the Death of Mai was straight up heartbroken to those watching. Losing a loved one is truly sad. But thank goodness the movie+anime had a Happy Ending. Definitely 10/10 and I recommend it alot.
ya cant imagine how sad i was when Kaede went to normal...and this one hits just as hard..

The sad thing is, if it was sakuta saving mai san, she would had the same reaction as him too 😭
It was so sad that he couldn't save her , but at the end he went to the past .. it was really sad I've cried So many times ..
