Thanks, Scott! Yeah, it is a darn shame. We saw lots of photos of the lake back in the '40s and '50s, and it looked like it was really happenin' place back in the day.
My grand baby was born the day before in Rock Hill it was SUPER hot! We love Kings Mt state park. I just discovered your videos a few days ago and love them. Smokey is funny!
Well, Smokey (me) thanks you!! We'd love to get back over to Kings Mountain someday and do some hiking. Glad you found us, and we sure hope you'll keep watching!
Nomadic In Nature It was, and was actually about the shortest trail there! The “granddaddy” trail goes for almost 17 miles through THREE parks, crossing into NC! We were too wimpy to try that... 😞
Looks like a nice state park. It also reminds us of one of our adventures where we were told "stay on the blue trail" and "its a big loop". about two hours later I pull out my phone and we were a few miles from camp. Yeah, there was two BLUE trails and we were not on the loop one, Good Times!
Thanks, Aaron!! You may have to skip Kings Mountain, though. The path through the campground is AWFULLY tight with trees! The ranger there told us that the CCC just never imagined "big rigs" when the park was laid out back in the 1930s. 😳
Hi Guys. I checked this out since you are in my neck of the woods. I like KMSP camping as well as the Bravos. I wished that you would have checked out the USNWC since you are so close. I also like the travel footage with the camera looking over the truck. Neat. Great job.
Guessing you mean the Whitewater Center? Jessie's terrified of whitewater, so she'd forbid any participation there (I'd do it, but I'm not as intelligent as her... 😜). Glad you liked the video! Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for another great video guys! We keep forgetting to get out SC State Park book stamped haha. Kings Mountain is one we haven't visited yet, so the video helps me to know what to expect. Heading to Hamilton Branch on Veterans Day weekend. Camp on!
@@LiveNLearnRV nice we are in Columbia. We should travel together. We are headed to River Bottoms in Swansea this weekend. Camper has been parked for a few years.
The park looks nice. Its ashame that the lake is not useable. I'm hoping you saved some Halloween candy for those hangry moments! Lol.

You guys are such a hoot! You make my Sunday mornings!
Well, shucks! What an honor! We aim to please!
Thanks for sharing this State Park. That looks like a nice hike!

Camp More Bark Less Oh, those “Blair Witch Project”-type hiking stories! Don’t we all have ‘em? 🤣
Looking forward to "Part Two" next time.
Claudia Smoak Tune in next Sunday! That’s right - just ONE week to wait this time around!
Another good video! Another place I must see for myself! Thanks, as always.
Thank you, thank you! Add it to your list!
Great video. I love going camping. Hope you all have safe travels.
Thank you!! We're glad you decided to subscribe! It's great to have you along!
Live 'n' Learn RV Thank you👩🏻🍳☺️
We are heading to SC next summer, This might make the list, So many great state parks to choose from and only 2 weeks to do it. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for taking a look! Glad to help promote SC tourism! Heck, we're still discovering lots of them ourselves!
How lovely.
Isn't it, though!? In hindsight, we wish we'd shown the equestrian facilities there, too. Really pretty woodsy terrain!
Love places like that Living History Farm. Thanks for sharing!
We're so glad you liked it! We'd have shown off even more of the farm, but we were trying to keep the video to a manageable length... 😕
Great video. Cant wait to RV in the South. Some fabulous parks :)

@@LiveNLearnRV that makes sense. Same issue with a lot of national parks. We'll just stay outside the park and drive in 😉
Gotta love hiking 😉
...or calling an Uber. Either way. 🤣
Great fun.🙂👍
Outdoors4adventure It was! We give this place the proverbial "thumbs-up!"
Big Red is looking good! Love your videos.....always a lot of fun.
Suite Travels Thanks so much, Stock-men!! We’ve got to get back home and catch up with your vids - I think we’re a couple behind! 😳

Lee Gandy Glad to be of travel-service! How can you NOT have that potential “Ultimate Outsider” t-shirt on your mind!?!? 😜
