UA-cam keeps suggesting me your old videos, and I'm SO glad this one appeared ! I wish I had found it a few before ^^ I really have to catch up with all your previous technique videos, they are so helpful for a self-taught harpist !! Thank you so much 🙏
One of the one techniques that still baffles me. Your duo-camera views are extremely helpful. I think it’s clear enough that when I get back to the harp tomorrow I’ll fully understand the mechanics behind the motion. Thanks so much.
Hi Mia, I'm playing a lever harp (Camac "Excalibur") but from the phone camera view you can also see my pedal harp in the background, so a little confusing haha! (The technique is the same regardless of lever or pedal harp).

Super helpful. I couldn’t get my teacher’s explanation and got frustrated. But I got it immediately while watching your video. Thank you.

Thank you for this very helpful video! I have been wondering for a while what this open thumb technique is and how to play it!
Thank you so much!

Yeah, I really think (hope) having this camera angle helps. Hope it's gone well!
The detailed explanation is so very helpful, and being able to see it from two different views is a perfect learning experience.
Thanks, glad to hear!
Oh😯! The side and front views at the same time! Awesome. Not sure how you did it but very helpful double viewing. Thank you.
Thanks Jacquie! I just stuck my phone in between the strings and held it with my right hand (at the same time as filming with my normal camera).
What kind of Harp are you playing on I can kind of tell it’s a lever harp but it’s hard to tell
