Hi Rachel! I’ll make a video on this ASAP. What you can do is create a larger circle to go over the middle part, “slice” so its the perfect cut to cover the mermaid :)
You have to download it you can buy it off Etsy or just google Starbucks font and down load from the web that’s what I did bc I didn’t want to pay for the font

The height of the inner circle lines up perfectly with the starbucks logo but the width seems to leave a noticeable gap. Any ideas why that may be? I used the measurements you gave in the video of 4.14 x 3.864?

The white spaces you see are transparent. The Starbucks mermaid will be visible through the design

Yolanda Garcia make sure you are online selecting the circle and the star. If you select more than 2 objects you can’t slice
