Thank you for the lesson. Is the length of 10 pieces of 40-inch green sage rope correct? This length was enough for me to weave about 3 inches of square knots.
Beautiful tutorial, but I don't think it's hitting the measurements shown at the beginning, at least not for the light green bead, it got very short when I tried it with only 40 inches
Thank you! I linked to the exact cords in the description above under the video or you can find the info in my blog post. cuckoo4design.com/unique-diy-modern-macrame-wall-hanging/
hello! thanks for tutorial! Is 40 inches for the sage green square knots correct? I couldn't even tie 4 inches of square knots with that! help, please!
I'm sorry you are having issues. I haven't had anyone had issues before but you can easily add more if it's not enough by just knotting another new square knot strand after that and hiding the ends of the old one behind the new strand
@@marilyntheknottycrow2432 especially for the ivory chunky pieces the size doesn't matter because you can just add more yarn to each strand if you use thinner cord depending on how chunky you want the strands to look. It's a very forgiving piece ;) I ran out of yarn at some point and actually ended up using different sizes I had left but just made sure that the thickness was visually the same.
Was this intended to be just a partial tutorial? I followed it to the letter, and NOWHERE in the video did it say that here and there, I would need to leave out TWO cords instead of just one for each row. In the end, I had too many strings because I didn't know to take those extra ones out. Further, you skip over what you do with the bottom cords at the end and how you knot them. I had 4 because of the other omission, and it was not fun trying to figure out why I had extra cords and what to do with them. To anyone that follows this, I suggest watching all the way to the end BEFORE you start, so that you can figure out where you are supposed to remove two cords from the project in a row as you move downward. I am doing my best to salvage the piece, but its very frustrating to find a tutorial that skips vital steps.
Hi there, sorry you had issues. So far nobody else did. I mention in my description to please check out my blog post as well with extra details and photos. cuckoo4design.com/unique-diy-modern-macrame-wall-hanging/
Wow that was super rude. She put up a tutorial free of charge, explains and links a blogpost with more detail, and you also tell people to watch the video until the end. Why would you start a project that you wouldn’t finish watching before you start. You could have asked kindly if there was something that you possibly did wrong because you had trouble with parts of it.
So beautiful !! Congrats!!! 😍😍😍👏👏👏

This beautiful and I want to give it a go but I am new to all this. What size cords do i need? 3mm or 4mm?
I mostly used 4mm but you can get away with 3mm too.
Lindo 👏🏽👏🏽! (🇧🇷)
What a gorgeous piece!!! What size is the • light green macrame cord @t.) It is no longer available on Amazon.
Thanks! I updated the link under the description. The dark green is 5mm and the light is 4mm.

Bom dia
What size is the triangle??
There is an image with exact measurements of the triangle and yarn in my blog post cuckoo4design.com/super-easy-fluted-molding-hack/

You don't say what size of cord you use. 84 pieces of 40" ivory macrame yarn, but what size is the yarn? 5 mm, 4 mm, 3 mm??????? Help!
I linked the size that I used but it also doesn't really matter.
Julia Konya matters a lot!
