- A tanker lorry carrying a load of palm oil skidded, veered into the opposite lane, and caught fire in a crash involving three cars at KM44.6 of the Elite Highway northbound around noon on Saturday (Oct 12).

The galvanized metal is too weak as safety barrier in dividing opposition direction traffic in highway. Heavy vehicle crossing into opposite direction will be a disastrous and the best dividing barrier so far should be concrete.
