Oh my thank you thank you thank you!!! I really didn't want to spend the money for someone else's design...I'm a bit of a control freak and I just wasn't finding JUST what I wanted. This is just so perfect! Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Although we're in COVID quarantine and not much else is going on....not much to put on the calendar.... I figured this is a great time to get things all set and ready to go once life returns to a new normal!
Loved! I have just started using OneNote, - well, that's a lie - this is the FIRST thing I'm doing in OneNote as I am trying to figure out how to use it for this coming school year - haha!!! Thank You!!!
I LOVE one note!! so many options! I'm barely exploring these but I use OneNote for a lot of my internal notes to self for my job and I like that you can e-mail your page to anyone and you can attach files into it - the possibilities are endless!
Super cute - thanks for the video. How do I figure out what size to make it so it will properly display on the iPhone11 ? My plan would be to do something like the Hobonichi weeks for the iPhone to be able to prepare it on my laptop so it will have to be in OneNote since GoodNotes5 does not work on PC.
Getting to look right on various devices, just takes trial and error. I personally plan and design on my laptop and just use the phone or iPad to fill in info as needed on-the-fly. So I design to fit my laptop's screen.
oh yes.. please sell them on Etsy :) for the iPhone so I would not have to try to figure it out myself ..lol. All of the templates are for GoodNotes5/Notability but I have no iPad so it is a hassle to do all on my iPhone. OneNote would allow to prepare on the PC
I am attempting to follow along but I'm already having an issue right out the gate. When I go into PowerPoint and try to put an image inside a shape, it's not an option to do. There's only the option to do colors. Suggestions?
Wow, that's very pretty. I must congratulate you for your patience and also for the detailed explanations. But isn't this a lot of work to do every week? I mean, don't get me wrong, if you have the time to do this and it helps you go through your busy week, good for you, but personally, I don't think I would have the patience, nor the time. I did enjoy watching your video and I wanted to thank you for sharing your tips, which may prove useful to me at one point or another in the future.
If you make it once, you can just keep duplicating the page to use the same template as many times as you would like throughout the weeks/months. I make usually 4-5 backgrounds at a time and I use them for a few months. Unless it's your full on hobby, most planner folks just duplicate their favorite backgrounds.
Old video, I know, but: Can the created planner be used on all the platforms (android phones & tablets, PC's, laptops, etc.)? Why does Power Point have to be used or can other programs such as CorelDraw, Photo Paint, etc. be use?
I love your Video, great teaching but i'm having trouble. my picture after saving and trying to put on one note when I right click it will not save as a background. I don't even see a tab that says to save as background. I did it before so i'm not sure what was done different. does that sometimes happen? I erased and tried all over but nothing. I hope you can direct me how to fix this.
Finally someone showing how to make the cute digi planner in OneNote!!!!
A Crafty Plan and it was easy to follow I made one already.

Awesome video.
May I suggest you use Excel to automatically list your days of the week, and days of the month.
Then you would just copy and paste.
Excellent proof of why to NEVER update products. ugh. Beyond that....this was nice. Lots of good ideas that a lot of people never knew existed :)
Hi Denise, thank you soo much!!
Awesomeeee!!!
Wow what an imagination you have there! Love this video!

Thanks for sharing! Since you used PPT, I guess I can try to use Publisher to create a background instead.
Such a great video! Made my first background for a weekly planner. Thank you Denise! :-)
Thanks Denise, awesome video!
Genial todo lo que haces, todo lo que he aprendido lo he hecho. ¡Gracias!, saludos.

I love this! Thank you so much! Can you please share where you find your background pictures such as the flowers?
There are a couple of shops listed in the description of the video. The daisies are from Decoartist Clipart.
Denise, would you consider selling templates? You are so creative! I'm an accountant. Wrong side of the brain...

I do the same, cuz OneNote makes me crazy sometimes for being unable to do lots of things such us making background images transparent
Could you please tell me the size dimensions of the pages in powerpoint. Thank you
I have the unlimited size. I don't specify a page size

You can use whatever programs you are comfortable with to get the background images. This is just one option within the Microsoft suite of products.
What website do you recommend for purchasing fonts?
Try dafont.com or 1001freefonts.com
Is the 2016 better for creating planners?

What app/device are you using?
I am trying to do this but in my OneNote I have a notebook blocking the way. What is the setting in your OneNote
I think you should make another tutorial with another pattern
how about print it as a PDF?
it is one note 2016 right?
In this video, I used the Windows app version, but it works well in OneNote 2016 as well.
I like the video , Women are women, they love to make things beautiful. Well, I just open one note , write and close. That is it.
