This is a wonderful way to study the bible. I purchased this awhile back and have been extremely pleased in using this on my iPad, in my GoodNotes app. The opportunities available not only help my studies grow, but give me the opportunity to add to studies I have previously completed, by adding a page, i.e. the same concept of interleaved bible.

Love your background and all your all icons. Can you do a tutorial on them? Im very new to the apple world lol.
It is a very long, manual process. I had to create the images and then use the shortcuts app to make shortcuts for all the apps on my homescreen and then use the images I created as the app cover. Also, I believe I was using WidgetSmith to create the widgets. However, I still had to create all the images you see myself. I don’t use this setup anymore because it’s a pain to maintain. Every new app I downloaded I had to make icons for and all of that. It just wasn’t worth it. Haha

I want to create a chronological personal study Bible that specifically matches up with my church’s kidmin curriculum. Did you create this in PowerPoint like some people do digital journals or some other program? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hello! Thank you for your purchase! If you have a fire tablet, I believe you have access to the Play Store. If you have the Play Store the apps that will work are TouchNotes, Penly, Flexcil, Samsung Notes, and Xodo :) TouchNotes is the one I personally use and recommend! It has a free trial and then it's just a $6.99 one time purchase. And to me, it's like the GoodNotes of Android. And it's cheaper than GoodNotes. I don't have a video up yet for TouchNotes, I hope to soon. However, a friend of mine does! Her channel is Planning a Godly Life :) She has several videos on TouchNotes. Just be sure to backup your notes every few days. It's super easy, you just go to the home screen in the app and tap "Backup all Notes." Because, since it's a newer app and it gets updates frequently, you want to make sure you don't lose any of your notes in an update! But, it's by far my favorite app for Android!

Hello what a beautiful digital Bible. Besides taking notes on the side pages. I am new to this whole concept. Can I underline, circle, highlight and draw symbols over the Biblical text? I didn't see that in the video. Thank you and may God continue to bless you.
Thank you for the kind words :) Yes, you can do everything you can do in a traditional Bible! You can do the same markups as you'd do with a normal pen and paper :) It is easiest with a stylus of some sort. It doesn't have to be an Apple Pencil. I have seen there are many other brands that are now even magnetized like the Apple Pencil. But, yes, you can do everything you can with a normal Bible & then more! Such as adding in images of charts, photos of sermon outlines, artwork from digital art programs, and stickers :) It's Bible Journaling on a level that simply doesn't exist outside of the Digital realm. You can even add blank pages between pages for inserting articles or extra notes for a longer study. So, the possibilities really are endless.

It’s a personal file I have. I may offer them in the future. I’m out of the country for 6 months right now, so I likely won’t have new products in the near future.

I noticed in your video your screen is in landscape mode, after I downloaded it to my iPad it’s in landscape but I can’t my iPad in the same mode. How do I get it in sync with the Bible?
I think u might need to rotate the page thru the 3 dotted settings
OR if your iPad is not rotating at all then it's on right corner swipe down and unlock the screen rotation
Yes, in your command center in the top right where you pull down to get the brightness and screen record and things like that you may have the screen set to orientation lock on portrait. It’s the lock icon with a circular arrow around it. If you unclick that it should work :)
I am stucked on this Bible. I do now if have to make a subscription to Goodnotes 6, it’s no free, to download the Bible. I am trying to communicate with the owner of the Bible but until now I have not been able to. If someone could help me, Imwould appreciate it.
I just purchased this and I love it. I do have a question- your inserts are transparent so that when you bring them in they are the color you brought them onto. mine are white and remain white when I try to insert them. did I download the wrong ones?
If you’re on iPad what probably happened was accidentally entering “markup” mode. If you’re using your pen and accidentally click on the insert instead of hold and it pops up with a full size preview this can enter “markup” mode if you’re using your Apple Pencil. When this happens even if you undo any accidental markups it appears to cause it to have a white background. My recommendation is to redownload from either Etsy or my website and that should fix it. One way to know if this has happened is if certain inserts have a different date or time on them. This means the iPad edited the file at some point potentially while in “markup.”
Other than that they will have a white background if you import them as documents into GoodNotes because it interprets them as PDFs. So, I just recommend using them how I show in the app by dragging and dropping from the files app. If you save them to your photos app over time they may get a white background to save space on the iPad. So, I don’t recommend saving any png files to the photos app for this reason.
I'm curious. Do you run other programs on your iPad or do you use it only for your Bible?
I do everything on my iPad 😅 I design a lot for my business on it, plan my day to day life, keep track of notes, social media, entertainment, finances, pretty much everything gets done on it. And it never slows down even when I forget and have to close 20+ background apps 🤦🏻♀️ But, I am paperless for every aspect of my life, so I may use it more than most would.
Hi. Is this sized for the 12.9 size iPad or is it possible to make the pages fit for that size? Mine doesn't look as perfectly sized as yours so I was just curious. Maybe I'm missing something.

You’re going to want to use a program like ZoomNotes for this feature. Because GoodNotes doesn’t allow you to create links in a finished document it just reads them. ZoomNotes allows you to link in a document and even link to other documents. However, it has a huge learning curve. But, there are many tutorials for creating links in ZoomNotes on UA-cam :)

I tried to view your stuff on site and I guess it was having problems displaying eveything. But I have a question, do you offer a bible that is truly a Journaling bible that WE can choose to do our own artwork and our own journaling tools and or options? Like I said, I couldn't get pages to pull up on your site so I could really see in detail what the bibles fully do..
But I want a Digital Bible that lets me do my own Art, and offers Microsoft Office Type options for Journaling needs. I truly want to be able to make it my own.. Thanks for Responding..😊
This Bible is just that. It comes blank. You fill in what you want. I’d recommend the Noted Series if you’re not going to use inserts because there’s one with completely blank pages on the side instead of the ones shown there. Like and Interleaved Bible, for example :)
Can you change the color of the tabs and sticker/inserts?
You can’t change the colors of the navigation tabs. However, you can cover the insert spaces with the other insert space colors included in the insert packs :) Or you can cover them entirely with a white square. Hope this helps!
This is probably a dumb question but I really want this but I’m not getting a tablet just yet and only have my iPhone 14 pro max could I still get it? I know it’ll be harder to fill out without one but I won’t be getting one until I believe next month
I know this is a late reply, for some reason I wasn’t getting notifications for comments until I specifically checked UA-cam Studio and saw 72 comments! But, you can use it on a phone, I just don’t recommend it because it will be harder to do.
Hi 😊 I know you said you aren’t able to create a NKJV Bible because of copyright, but do you think it’s possible for me to cover the Bible text with a white square and then place the NKJV text on top? I hope that makes sense lol
Hello! Yes, you could do that. However, it may make a large file size. I have considered making a blank Bible for that. However, the file size issue is still going to be an issue and I'm not sure how I'd do the links given that I don't know how many verses each person would put per page. So, it does make it hard with linking to chapter numbers. I thought about just doing one with links to the books, but not sure. I am brainstorming this product currently, however I haven't gotten a chance to sit down and really work on it yet. But, check back later and it may be available ;)
@@biblepaintshop6386 Thank You! Personally I think the blank Bible would be great! I’m not sure how it would work and if it would interfere with the links, but maybe you could link one page to each chapter number and then allow everyone to add additional pages as they please for the verses. The verses wouldn’t be linked, but at least the chapters would be. I’ve looked at other blank Bibles, but only the book of the Bible is linked not the chapters. I think the chapters being linked would make it a little easier and more organized. But I look forward to whatever you decide and can’t wait 😊
Would essential be too small for the iPad mini 6 in landscape. Can men also use this?
It should still work on the Mini, it will just be smaller. It has 18 point font though, so should still be easy to read :) And yes, Men can use it too :) I do have a Masculine version of the Noted Series here: biblepaintshop.com/products/digitaljournalingbible-noted-minimal-kjv

Hello! I am trying to get an Android video done, just takes awhile to plan, film, edit, polish, and then upload a longer video like that 😅 But, I highly recommend TouchNotes for Android. It has a free trial and then $6.99 one-time purchase. So, it’s cheaper than GoodNotes and offers nearly identical features and actually has an eye dropper tool for colors, which GoodNotes doesn’t even have. It works just as well on Android as it does an iPad :) Believe I answered everything, but let me know if you have more questions and I’ll be glad to help :)

My Noted Series is just that :) It’s the version I put out before this one. If you want the inserts you’ll have to buy them separately since that Bible came out before the inserts.

Yes, you can mark it up completely with a pdf annotating app such as GoodNotes and NoteShelf for iPad or Penly and Flexcil for Android. :)
Does anybody know if you can use this offline or do you always need an internet connection?
It can be used offline, however if you’re wanting to back it up to the cloud it won’t backup until you’re back on WiFi. So, for example you can use a WiFi only iPad at Church, when you get home to WiFi it will backup to the cloud and sync across your devices. So, yes, it’s usable off WiFi. WiFi is only needed for cloud backup or if you’re using an app that syncs across devices.

Yes, I have to work with Public Domain versions of the Bible at this time. All major modern translations are under copyright.
Will you do anothe tutorial for Goodnotes 6?
Given that there’s very little difference between GoodNotes 5 and GoodNotes 6 as far as the Bible is concerned, I don’t see a need. But, if you’re having an issue with GoodNotes 6 let me know and I can try to help :) UA-cam has a plethora of GoodNotes tutorials and what has changed between versions as well :)
