Miguel Silva I agree, London is expensive, you do seem to be able to buy new releases for a little bit cheaper in places like Berlin and even eslewhere in the UK. But check out reckless records, haggle vinyl, any of the exchange shops in greenwich, soho or notting hill, you just need to dig a little deeper...
check out Dave's Little Record Shop in N8 (north London) great selection of 2nd hand records, buy and exchange. small friendly shop where no price is fixed and everything is negotiable!
hello i would like know what is the best records shop in Berlin, i looking for trance, goa trance, techno, etc.. from 90's, what is your sugestion? i will travel there in a few weeks for 2 days...
Records got deleted by pioneer they closed the techno record captescer and p.v.d & ace venture and Boris bresjna made all the e.d.m equipment companies to think twice about digital and analogue respect Fred(E)ricK 🇦🇺
Totally disagree with the guy saying that in Berlin they have a stronger vinyl culture than London when here we invented that garage, and most of the best ever produced music on analog music. He can say that germans have a very strong electronic scene. That I understand, but in terms of vibes, I believe London has all vibe, and Berlin sounds all hipster for me like ''The cool'' or the americans never wanted to move to London, otherwise. (Laughs)
London and Berlin are so different scenes it's even hard to compare them. Both are great, vinyl shopping in London has more variety, in Berlin though you will find stuff that is very hard to come by anywhere else in the World. And for the vibes... oh well, I pick Berlin for clubbing, it's just a non-stopping roller-coaster.
Yes, agree with you Piotr. I suppose both can't be compared. We can say they are two great cities. :) Perhaps because the clubs in Berlin are until 8am and then you have the so called after hours. Same as in my country Portugal Cheers
