You’re right. People who knew Michael only had good things to say about him. It was the media and certain powerful people who worked hard to change the public’s perception of him after his purchase of the Beatles catalog.

After he brought the Beatles catalog is when the media really started to turn on him, he was getting too powerful. You will see how nasty they get talking about him soon

No not true. MJ’s behavior caused his own media coverage. The man had a very unnatural attraction to kids. People
Can defend it, but I’d never leave my child around around him EVER! However, he was a powerhouse talent and one of the GOATS in Pop music.

I was 18 and worked in a record store in L.A. when "We Are the World" came out and a LOT of people bought multiple copies. The single cost $1.69 and directly donating to a cause wasn't the easiest thing to do back then, so a lot of records were bought and given away (maybe even thrown away) just to make a bigger donation. And it wasn't even about wanting to hear the song for a lot of people; it was on the radio every two seconds, and you couldn't avoid seeing the video on the channels that played them - even if you wanted to lol.
You need to react to the making of Captain EO and the Moonwalker movie!!! ❤

Awwww I can never get enough MJ. Have you seen the Netflix documentary ‘The Greatest Night in Pop’ which was about the making of ‘We Are The World’. Just amazing. Haha and that wax work. I went to London to see it 😆

How did we go from Dangerous to best of 80s,
These should all be done in 20min blocks, not 10min year by year clips, added once every 5 days. Apologies, I love the reactions, but you still have SOOO much more to go from interviews and concerts from the 90s and so fourth. Just would love if the clips were added more than once a week. The Elvis stuff is like 9 clips per day lol.. Anywho, Thanks in advance Seph. Love the reactions either way
Because I've been very sick the last few months I've been unable to keep up with the videos, but theres a good reason why theres more elvis videos, its because they are very very short and only take a few minutes to record. Where MJ videos are often lengthy, especially if they are an hour or 2. And unfortunately "At the moment" because of my health im not able to record every day and only in short durations too maybe 30 to an hour "i used to do about 3 hours every day"
@@SephPlays Yea no worries big bruv, Health always comes first. I figured some of the Michael stuff is currently being negotiated by Sony, So it could also be copyright claims. But it is all appreciated & always fun to watch someone go thru the same experiences we went thru learning about Mike in a more modern way. Keep up the good work, bud👏👏👏
Also, throwing in some recommendations fans are probably gonna skip, but are pretty important to understand the FULL grasp of how HUGE this dude became... If you're back on the 80s, I suggest "MTV's From Motown to Your Town", it's an MTV special based on all the stops of the bad tour, MTV did the same during Dangerous Tour, with "MTV's Dangerous Diaries", you should definitely react to both specials, A lot of Behind The Scenes footage showing you how ENORMOUS the tours actually were.
