Freddie Jackson is doing the best he can with what he has. If he doesn't sing to survive and pay his bills then what else is he going to do. Its heartbreaking watching older performers still perform and can't do what they use to do. Fans and supporters still go see them because we love them then and even still now Keep on keeping on Freddie ❤
I went to his show recently. I felt robbed. It was little singing and a lot of talk and antics. I was expecting a really great show. But days later I forgave him. Maybe he really needs the money and I have been enjoying his music all these years. So I was happy that I supported him in a way.

I think Frankie Beverly is experiencing the same thing vocally both were incredible in their day but now I think the gig is up. Definitely Goats in this R&B game.
It’s this wonderful thing called aging; it’ll happen to all of us eventually, some just age better than others. Does he have the same energy he wants did? No. Does he have the same voice he wants did? No. Could some of that be due to lack of taking care of himself in his younger years? Probably. If he’s still enjoying himself, showing up for his fans etc., even if not everything lands and he’s choosing to do all this, though, I say let him have at it. Listen to his newest song, “never let go,“ and then tell me his voice is gone completely.
Very true. Every singer is different. I’ve seen Gladys Knight twice over the past couple of years and her voice is still as smooth as butter- and she’s in her late 70s.

But later I thought maybe he really needs the money otherwise he would not be doing this to himself. So I got over the anger and was happy that I supported him in his hour of need.
