I'm here after Creed announced their North America reunion tour. I've been rewatching their amazing love performances. Hoping they'll return to the Philippines!
They were on a totally different level in their prime. The performances were really like spectacles. A once in a lifetime experience. You had Scott singing with so much raw emotion and power. His lyrics cutting through ya mind like daggers, hitting on spiritual aspects and philosophical issues. Tremonti melting ya face with melodic and heavy riffs. Ppl don’t give CREED enough credit for how dominant they were in the music scene, industry, and how good they all were as musicians. They’re still rocking today, but you’ll notice a big difference between the time periods. Im just anxious for one more creed album.
I saw them in Columbus eight days later on 4/8/00. I know it's cool now to hate them, kind of like Nickelback, but y'all can eff off. You know you loved these guys back in the day. Don't try to act like you didn't jam out to Higher or sing in your car with all your heart to With Ahhhhhhhmmmsss Wide Ooooopppaaaannnn. It was maybe the most diverse, devoted crowd I've ever seen for an artist. This captures very well how the crowd knew every word to every song, even the non-hits like, "Illusion," or, "Beautiful." The band sounded super tight as always, and Stapp hadn't completely fallen off the cliff yet. By two years later when I saw them again, they were just not elite anymore. But here, this was their moment. Truly awesome, and completely symbiotic relationship with a crowd who was fully and completely devoted to them.
Fuckin' awesome! Saw them at the Tweeter Center (or was it still called Great Woods?) in Mansfield, MA on this tour w/ 3 Doors Down and American Pearl opening. Was the first concert I went to of my own choice, good times!
Ode Torn Are You Ready? Beautiful Say I In America My Own Prison What If Unforgiven Illusion Faceless Man With Arms Wide Open What's This Life For One Higher
Lol. Poor Tremonti must've forgotten that they had fireworks to the intro of "What If" cos he jumped when they went off, either that or he felt like it was too close.
Thx for such a great raw share. I've been trying to put a time line together haven't had too much in y2k Have a lot from 90's to current Thx for a great add
One of the very first shows where Tremonti featured his signature model PRS guitar. After his Les Paul was stolen, he used the insurance money to buy a PRS, which had already made a name for itself with Carlos Santana. Tremonti didn't like using them live, so PRS eventually decided to make him happy and customize a guitar just for him.
The last great band. It’s been down hill since then. Corruption and greed made sure of that. Imagine so many other great bands that were never heard just because.

I was at this concert, I was in college at the time. My roommate and I drove to Toledo for this show, and it was nothing short of amazing!

Lucky you!

This was my first concert at 11 years old. Thanks for bringing back all this nostalgia!!
Unlike the pop b.s, this is not auto tuned nor does Scott Stapp lip synch. These are real musicians and artists. I am proud to say I am a Creed fan.
He has been caught on video many times lip syncing. There are much better choices than Scott lol
Like every other artist but he’s not lip syncing in this and many many others. Creed kicked ass and Stapp gave 110%.

Are there any other bootlegs of this tour available to listen to? I know of this and the DVD release.
You’ll have the full San Antonio show released on August when they release for the 25th Anniversary of Human Clay

@49:26 did Scott Stapp just refer to Brian Marshall as "Scott Philips"?
