I have a place in that area. That is an established snowmobile trail. That bridge was built and maintained by the Paudash Trail Blazers Snowmobile club
This is interesting.. at 3:27 the picture looks very very similarly built by the one in North Bay, in Nova Beaucage..the same 2 pillars standing upright.. not sure why they are so high because they are so far from lake nipissing about 80-100ft.. a barge apparently docked there, at the processing site
Any kind of radioactive readings from that mine? I was in some Uranium mines in Utah and apparently they were radioactive but not enough to harm you on short visits! Cool Adit with all the ice hanging down!
Never having been out of the great lakes state before, would I be able to visit this mine area and explore for minerals? can you share any rules or statues about taking mineral specimens across borders? Thanks as always for your comprehensive videos. I love that you don't talk down to your viewers :)
I was wandering around behind my house around a small lake and noticed a rock face about 7 feet high and around the bottom of it the rock suddenly turned and went back under the rock face at close to a 20 degree angle. There is about a 2 inch gap for a few feet back after which i cant see any more. Underneathth gap is damp soil, i wasnt able to determine how deep it is. I can feel a small amount of relatively warm air coming from it, is there a possibility it could be a cavity or cave? Ill find a way to share some pictures i took.
Hello, it's been a while and I've been looking for the answer to what i thought should be a fairly straightforward question. Do know the approximate uranium content of k-plag feldspar? I happen to like it and wanted to try cabbing it one day but not if ill get sick
Cool explore, maybe take MushFarmer up on his offer of a Hero 4 camera and borrow Jeff's geiger counter next time you go someplace like that! :) I have found that Madagascar apatites for sale in crystal power shops & rock/mineral shows tend to be quite spicy with Thorium. More than I would want next to my skin for very long. Also some of the darker shades of Turquoise from China/Tibet. Weird science.
That is bicroft mines you are right by center lake area I lived on inlet bay road so its not called halo mines and if you not a center lake then I don't know what to say
Please show us the radiation levels. You can't seriously go to a place with radioactive isotopes and not carry a Geiger counter to demonstrate background radiation and what is being emitted from these crystals.
this is right in my back yard, been collecting uranium glass for a few years now. I'll have to take a look some time, thanks for the guide!
Cool video! I learn something every time I watch your videos and I appreciate it. I saw you drive by me before! I recognized the vehicle and you!
That bridge is likely for the snowmobile and atv trail system

Always have buddy with you when exploring holes in the ground. Good call.

You’re videos are fun to watch, but I think you would get a lot more viewers if you had a better camera! :)
Well it just so happens I have a old Hero 4 Silver that I will donate to Caver461!
cool video, thanks for sharing.

I would be interested to see some pictures. Air flow sounds promising.

Bancroft is 'not' in Northern Ontario, it's in eastern Central Ontario!
Any where north of Toronto is northern Ontario
@@trevorb7645 Northern Ontario actually doesn't really start till you get to the Sudbury basin.
