Comparing stats from a driver who had 11 seasons with a championship capable car to a driver who has hadn't had a single season with a championship capable car obviously is not a fair comparison.
Nobody is tinkering with Hamilton's car. Teams don't sabotage themselves. It's the oldest most recurring excuse from Hamilton fans every single time Hamilton drives a bad race. Never has there been any evidence for it or any motive presented that makes any sense. And the horrible thing about this narrative is that with equal utility you could also discount every single one of Hamilton's titles. If you truly believe teams operate with that type of favoritism then Hamilton has been the team favorite and perhaps it had some commercial benefits to let Hamilton win. The point is that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. You can't just assert things like sabotage.
You guys are making the wrong comparison:-) You are comparing Norris to Max in 2021... and that is completely wrong Lando should be compared to Lewis Hamilton in that season! Lando has the same role as Lewis had in 2021 namely the better car in the second half of the season. Both coming back from a second position and both fighting against Max Verstappen and both lost that battle in a better car than Max Verstappen!
