- You can track the status of your spousal sponsorship application using a new PR tracker. But it can get a little frustrating trying to create your account. there are "unexpected errors" that pop up when trying to link or it can simply "not find your application".
But there are a few solutions that work. lets take a look

We applied for spousal sponsorship online (inland) here's our timeline so far :
November 9th 2022 : Application submitted
November 16th 2022 : AOR
November 16th 2022 : Medical request
November 22nd 2022 : Biometric request
November 24th 2022 : Biometric received
Desember 7th 2022 : Pre arrival letter (email)
February 3rd 2023 : eCOPR

Wow that is very fast, wish you all the best , I applied on October 3, 2022 until now I didn’t receive the AOR yet.
We submitted our application on jan4th 2022
Application got started on March
Medicals on April 2022
May 22 nd got pre-arrival
June 3rd passport request mail
June 13th baby born
Aug 10th submitted all the documents of my daughter
Sep 7th baby got added
Sep 28th got pre-arrival
Still now there is no response ..

Hello bro i got my AOR on 16 jan and same day its showed my medical pass. But today i got a mail about medical what that mean. I submitted my previous medical done in 2019.
I Submitted Application on 8th Nov 2022,
Received AOR on 17th Jan 2023
Eligibility fulfilled as a sponsor email - 2nd Feb 2023

not mandatory at all! it is just to help you keep track. all important updates will get delivered to the email anyway.
Hello! Great video!! Detailed and precise, I am trying to set up a tracker but with no success yet. I am applying for express entry PR, and the UCI i Have received starts with CAN then followed by 12 digits! Its different than the format UCI that is explained in the application Form, is there any explanation concerning this detail? Thank you
Hi Suyash - thank you for all the videos and the efforts you have put in to make it easy to understand as well as enjoyable. My husband (Sponsor and PR holder) received an email for the AOR recently. We both have linked my Family class (Spouse) application to the Tracker. Please let me know if we need to link the application to GC Key as well. Concern here is that it mentions on the website that once application is linked to GC Key, we will stop receiving email updates.
these trackers are not very reliable. Just the PR tracker should be fine and if you can, link to the GC key as well, but not totally necessary.

I got AOR like two months ago and was trying to link the tracker since then but unsuccessful. Came across your video and tried all the permutations and combinations. Was finally able to link it using the place of birth as City, State. Thank you so much.

I am having issues, can you please confirm what did you enter in city (for principal applicant's) just city name or city and state?

@@naveed3600 i (sponsor) was able to create the account on pr tracker, but having difficulty for my wife, principal applicant, tried different combinations, still not able to do.

hello, we received our AOR on 20/04/2024 and unable to link in GC KEY and PR tracker page for sponsor, should we try after some time? Usually, the biometric and medical requests will be sent via mail or this tracker.
I received an email to pay for the biometrics fee approx. 2 months after submitting our application. But I haven't received an AOR yet, is this normal?

I faced some problem in both tracker.Gc key eligibility status is different from PR tracker. In GC KEY eligibility showing under processing but in pr tracker eligibility not started. Which one is true plz revert

They have now removed the *Place of birth* tab in the PR tracker sign up / login.
I was never able to link my application ever in the PR tracker, not sure why. Even if I copied the exact information I had entered in form 008. But I tried it today, and it worked!! Guess the place of birth was the issue? So yeah, maybe IRCC figured that this was an issue as well! :D

use space instead of comma. for eg: MumbaiMaharashtra if it says Mumbai, Maharashtra

Heyy for those having trouble linking I was having the same problem so make sure in the PR portal email is the same username in the GCI account u can find the out by clicking forgot username and it will send a link for the username and make sure ur putting that one in and try the second option where it’s name,date,birth that how I got it to work

If I am understanding this correctly. It is better to link the PA's application to the PR tracker as it will have more details. Correct?
Both should link, PA and sponsor. But PA will see more details. That does not mean sponsor should not link

Be careful with the comma in birth place if there is any . It should be placed in same way as in forms

Brother i have done my maedical test but doesn’t show any update status.And one thing i want to know that do i need to upload the e-medical document in my cic portal?.My application was paper base and i have connected my application with ircc portal.
usually, medicals are communicated by your panel physician to IRCC, not you. it can take quite a while for the updates to show. if you have done everything right, just wait for now.

You can but not needed. One GC key account should suffice.

Yes, you can create account in the new PR tracker. It wont hurt the consultant’s account.
What your consultant might be referring to is the GC key, a different older tracker. if you create the GC Key account and try to link your application, if the consultant has linked the application too, it will remove that. but this will not happen with the new Tracker

My application has reached a stage where we have received AOR, sponsor approval, biometrics and medical exam submitted. But, the family class PR tracker still shows the application status as 'received'. By now I was expecting the tracker to start showing some updates but none so far. Anyone with a similar situation?

Hello I had the same issue, try signing out and signing in and try again. Sometimes the file that you’re trying to upload might be too big so you’ll have to shrink it

I applied in october and my file was returned to me because of sponsor’s document. We again resubmitted and it was accepted. Whenever i check the PR tracker, it only shows file closed for the old one where file was returned. We have tried for both PA and Sponsor, but file closed for both. On the other hand, we are receiving updates on our gc key. We recently got pre arrival services message. Can you help in how can we link with PR tracker in this scenario.
Hello brother. I am unable to register for PR tracker. I received my AOR last Friday still can’t get registered in PR tracker. Always says Incorrect or invalid information. Review and make sure it matches the information submitted on your application. If you can’t create an account, it may be because your application is not in our system yet.neither of us can get registered.
