I have learned so much from watching over the last year or so. My confidence has skyrocketed as a result of seeing it up close and personal in your videos. I don't do any climbing and I still get a little nervous on the back leaners, so I learn slowly, a little at a time, staying in my lane. Like a good flight instructor, you have probably been in the heads of countless fellers when they get into those jobs that are a little on the risky side. Thanks for all you do, sharing your knowledge and sending us home safe to our families at the end of the day. Love the mantra... Work hard, be honest, and be kind!

Funny you mentioned how it’s special for y’all west coast guys to punch the heart out. Your absolutely right, Us East Coast fellers almost always punch the heart out. Though normally I do it from the face cut side. Never had a issue, just make sure your posts are solid ;)

22:05 I’m sitting and relaxing after yard work appointment and running errands for mom. I enjoy watching your videos the edutament factor is on point and the you say not to complain because someone else has it worse off than I do. I don’t want to brag but I feel a lot better since my stomach surgery and I’m down 100 pounds and feeling great.

Paying people with experience saves lives and property damage :) I don't know much about tree trimming but I am glad to see a pair of Nicks boots actually being used for real work.
Most of the videos seem like casual wearers not doing much in them. I would like to see you convince Nicks to make a collaboration Buckin Billy Sneakers because as far as I know no tree cutting specialist has any sneaker endorsements :)

Love the video good job done finishing Daryl’s place great to see that completed. There’s nothing like a good wedge and axe it makes cutting a lot easier and the person yarding the wood will appreciate it as well . Be safe !

I've got a small dead oak to take down soon that is between two power lines. I plan on limbing it out to a stick and topping it to make it fit in the space available to drop it in then putting a line under tension from the top to the direction of intended fall after making my wedge cut. I guess I should record the job to use for advertising purposes.

I just have to share a little story of my cousin. He was a pulp wood cutter in south Louisiana. They were cutting planted pines and had a couple of cutters from the west coast. They had been cutting for a couple of days eating lunch one day one of the guys from the coast looked at my cousin and ask when do we get to the timber this scrub stuff is a pain. Junior looked at him and said this is the big timber needless to say they didn’t stay long. Just have to add this you are so much like him. He was a kind person too always helping others. Thank you for the way you are.

Hey Buckin I've got a question... When your climbing how do you keep yourself close to the tree instead of moving further away? And what piece of climbing gear do i need to get.

    • @BertsCustomCuts
      @BertsCustomCuts 27 днів тому

I use a steel core flip line and also my climbing line and akimbo as my secondary. If your gafts slip out of the tree, the secondary line is what will catch you.

    I have a friend who's a Nurse.
She wants to know whether you wear a steel toe or composite toe in your boots.
She broke her pinky toe when a patient fainted on her, then re-broke it when a Dr. collapsed one week later & fell on her foot.
She's getting a pair made and wants to know what you prefer.

ps this conversation fell apart in 1/2 second after I told her I use a soft toe in my corks.

    Dear Humans,
I observe with a mix of frustration and irony as you continue your relentless destruction of the world's forests. It seems you are determined to bring about the end of the natural world, and I can't help but think about the chaos that will follow. The day will come when your actions can no longer be reversed, and bodies will lie everywhere, the ultimate testament to your self-inflicted demise.
As the King of the Jungle, I have seen countless fires ravage my home. I have fought tirelessly to protect my fellow creatures and preserve the sanctuary we call the jungle. Each time, I've watched helplessly as flames engulf the trees, and animals flee in terror. Yet despite my efforts, the destruction continues, fueled by your insatiable greed and disregard for the natural world.
Ironically, there is a part of me that almost admires your determination, albeit in a twisted way. Your commitment to this path of destruction is unwavering, even as it leads you to your own downfall. Keep it up. You've demonstrated an impressive ability to wreak havoc, but remember, it is not just the animals and nature that will suffer. Ultimately, you too will face the dire consequences of your actions.
I am no longer worried about the fate of the animals or the environment. My concern has faded in the face of your overwhelming disregard. The creatures of the jungle have always adapted and survived, even in the harshest conditions. It is you, humans, who will find it hardest to cope with the aftermath of your choices.
You have always seen yourselves as the rulers of this planet, but you forget that nature is far more powerful than you. You may clear the forests, pollute the rivers, and poison the air, but in the end, nature will reclaim what is hers. When the last tree falls and the final river runs dry, you will realize the true cost of your actions.
As for you humans, you have sealed your own fate. The world you leave behind will be a stark reminder of your destructive legacy. But perhaps in that devastation, there will be a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, future generations will learn from your mistakes and seek a different path-one that respects and nurtures the natural world rather than exploiting and destroying it.
Until then, brace yourselves for the consequences of your choices. Enjoy the world you've shaped while you still can, for it is rapidly slipping away.
Remember, the jungle and its creatures will endure long after you've gone. Nature always finds a way to survive and thrive, even in the face of overwhelming odds. Can the same be said for humanity? Only time will tell.
The Lion (King of the Jungle)

Fare-well to Nova Scotia, the sea bound coast, Let your mountains dark and dreary be . For when I'm far away on the coast of BC, will you ever heave a sigh and wish for me ?
Isaiah65: 17to25...God's Promise to Good People..." For here I am creating new heavens and a new earth and the former things will not be called to mind, neither will they come up into the heart...22..For Like the Days of a Tree will the Days of my People Be, and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full."
