@@PavlusAdventures thank you for watching, sir. I appreciate the support. Yes it is very windy in the morning. It was blowing above 5 miles an hour about 9 o’clock in the morning wind picked up and start blowing 18 miles an hour, it was cold and windy day end on the end of day we still able to enjoy and catch a lot of shad
I’ve noticed you were fishing way down the dam. I could see power lines about a mile up. My question is how did you even get there. Is there any place to park a car in that area?
@@turkeybeard7814 yes when I sliced the fillet thin slices like that I cut through the pin bones and they’re no longer going to harm you it’s safe. I don’t even feel them in my mouth.
Thanks for sharing a little bit of your back story about you been Shad fishing since 1989! OG for sure

@@hookedforanicemeal oh yea does sound cold. But you had better weather then I did. We were all soaked and wet.
As always looks good and tasty.
@@SeaSickChris thank you🙏
Quick suggestion, maybe use a clean gas funnel to put the cherry pellets in
@@vitpav777 thank you I will try it next time😃
Great stuff. Also, if you grind shad you can use it for shrimps!
@@sov19871987 yes it’s really good shrimp bait. I also use them for a crab bait mixing with chicken and result is huge.

From what I searched but the president that loved shad was George Washington. Would you mind sharing your setup?

why do you dehydrate first? why not smoke first? just curious.
@@tmtallman that’s a very good question for a cold smoking. You have to dry it first otherwise smoke not gonna stick to it.
